Freind of the family runs Charlie's (Katey) has the best french toast.. I come from Florida just to enjoy the meal and atmosphere.. you have to go when you're in LA
I love this place! I come here often and have always gotten a consistent and delicious meal! The servers are friendly and attentive! The coffee is always fresh, and the atmosphere is delightfully warm and inviting! The menu is what you would expect for the most part, but there is always a fun inventive twist on something!
Small cafe a couple blocks from the wharf. Worth it. Coffee and chai were good. Omelette and homemade corn beef hash were tasty. Nice and relaxing atmosphere. Service was excellent. Homemade strawberry jam.
Such a cute space! The California omelet was amazing and very filling. Great food and very friendly staff! We look forward to returning when we come back to Los Angeles, CA.
I would consider this food better than standard diner food. I ordered the mexican omelette and enjoyed it. The chorizo was really good. My only issue with it was that it wasn't really an omelette. The egg part was cooked well and blanketed over the pile of omelette insides. My boyfriend enjoyed his burrito, but made the mistake of eating the entire thing (it is huge!).
I often work 5 am and I come here for my lunch at 9:30. The breakfast here is so wholesomely made. It makes my day feel extra special honestly. Everything made to your liking. They do not miss. ??
Cafeteria food. I waited 45 minutes for scrambled eggs and they couldn't take 2 minute to cook them all the way. The eggs had no salt but since the employees kept taking their masks off to yell orders out I'm sure my food got some COVID seasoning so that's a nice touch.
I just moved to Hollywood and found Charlie's coffee shop K to the owner is an absolute reason to come in the morning and have breakfast to start your day I love this place try it out.
The food was okay, my omelette was great, my partner did not like his food, he said it was dry, a breakfast burrito. We waited about a half hour for our food and there was a line after us, those people were all gone and had been served by that time. Seemed odd.
Friendly staff, great food. Free coffee refills!Suggest going early, as the Farmer's Market tables get crowded later in the day.
