I stopped by on a whim and was not disappointed! I had the pork katsu with regular curry and rice and it was fantastic! I highly recommend this place for any Japanese curry fan!

Tasty Japanese curry with simplified menu. They use sporks

With tip this pork katsu curry rice & salad cost $18, not worth it. It's for quick & convenient, but food is just so so. Pork Katsu is not tender nor juicy despite its perfect fried appearance. Meat is super chewy that I think I'm chewing on some type of rubber. Waiters are all super friendly although u really don't need much from them; everything is self-service.

Used a machine to order chicken katsu and pork katsu. Curry sauce was good~~. I usually end up drinking a gallon of water after eating curry from other restaurants, but no Champion’s. I really like that.

This is a quick counter serve restaurant that offers a variety of katsu dishes. You place your order on a screen.I had a pork katsu sandwich, it was hearty and it comes cut in half. Perfect for sharing, which was great because it was more filling than I thought it would be. It comes with a side of curry for dipping. A small side of fries is $1 with the sandwich.I’ll definitely be returning to try the other variations.

Good Japanese curry. Spicy is surprisingly spicy ? good portion sizes and fried meats are perfectly crispy. Curry itself is a little pricey, but only $1 for add on sides like macaroni salad, drinks, etc. makes it a better deal. I need to come back when they have curry bread.

The curry is seasoned perfectly, the rice is always soft and fluffy, and any cut of meat is crunch and crispy truly the best curry place out here in LA.

Very delicious even when ate 40 min after (takeout). Pork katsu were crispy and tender and curry was ?. Portion size was filling. $1 extra for side macaroni salad is pretty good value.

This place is lord. What a difference between now and when it opened. They're doing things right over here. Also, the curry pan is damn good. Highly recommend. The crispy foods are crispy, and the curry is really tasty. Their spicy curry is perfect.

The only place in all of Los Angeles I could find with a good Hamburg Curry. Since Curry House has closed this has been the best curry restaurant in Los Angeles. Other places either don't offer Hamburg Curry or theirs weren't up to par.
