Chinese Dim Sum Seafood

A very good place to enjoy authentic Chinese cuisine from the mandarin side... they will bring the food cart to your table for you to choose your dish.. they have tender pork ribs in black bean sauce, dim sum, shrimp with walnuts and you can also order a la carte... the hot is indispensable...reasonable prices... enjoy it my dear friends

I used to always go here and the food was good. But today i went with my family and my boyfriend (he is African American) and the food was horrible. Everything was salty, the pork chop, magnolian beef, rice, tofu, and shrimp. Im kinda surprised because the years ive been going to this restaurant ive never had this experience. They didnt pay any attention to us and kept forgetting our food we ordered. Today was easter and thought it was going to be a wonderful day.

This place has their own parking lot. If it becomes full then there are metered parking on the street. The prices are cheaper than San Diego but more expensive than OC. I thought being in LA with competitors within distance would drive prices down but I was wrong. When we got seated they had one push cart and the same cart the entire time we were there. For me, I didn’t mind because it was all the dishes that I would normal order. But that meant now pastries dishes. -Bean curd - very tough -Siu Mai - small -Har gow - small, outer white layer is really thick -Chicken feet - decent but doesn’t necessarily fall off the bones -Flat rice shrimp noodle - soy sauce not so sweet and the rice noodle is thick Not only was this place pricey, their taste and quality did not help. The rice paper on the har gow and flat rice noodle were thick and hard.

Feb 1, 2022 waited in line for 20 minutes but they would only help chinese-speaking customers, and I am white. I see it has happened to others as well. If I were to do this to my customers I would be branded racist. They told me to speak up but in this place I would be branded asian-hater. Not going back, ever ever ever. Other english speakers were walking out!!!

i absolutely love their quality and taste of food/dishes every time. a restaurant that feels homey and comfortable, and i always love the hot tea they provide right away. my mom and i have been going here for years, my mom before i was even born! only complaint is that in my most recent visit, i asked the lady helping us if we could order something from the menu. every single time i asked, even after waiting in between, she kept telling me in a loud voice "later, later". i ended up just eating what i got from dim sum, which tasted so good, but i'm a little disappointed the lady never came back to check in or ask if i still wanted to order. what's even worse is that other tables around me were able to order and had the dishes brought to them already. when i asked for my check, she said nothing to me. i really appreciate everyone's hard work for the quality of food but i am just puzzled why i was ultimately ignored when asking to order from the menu (it was around 11am or 12pm ish too). i hope it's not because i looked a certain way :( it's just odd. but will come back again always, just wanted to mention that.

The place seems like it's slowly reopening, but they did not have a menu available, only one cart with some har gaw and chicken feet and the beef/shrimp rice noodles. We were heading to the ABC around the corner and saw it was open but would have been nice if they told us that was all they had, I was craving roast duck. Rating is based on prior visits as well.

They have good selection of Cantonese roast meats, roast duck, roast pork, bbq pork, soy sauce and salted chicken, sausage, cuttlefish. The Togo selection of dim sum is smaller than their fine in menu. Only has the most popular choices, har Gau, shu mei, chicken feet, pork spareribs, pork n chive dumplings, Chiu Chau dumplings, char shiu BAO steam and baked, shrimp and beef rice roll, egg tart and a few other bakery items. The aunties there don't speak English very well so be patient or they may sound like they are screaming at you. Food quality is good and service is fast if you speak the language.

PreCovid it's my go to for Dim Sum in Chinatown. But now, I get it to go. All the usual suspects are good here, har how, sui mai, et al. Prices have risen considerably but worth it as a once in awhile treat.

Love this place. Super nice for casual dim sum with push carts. Good tea, nice atmosphere. You don't have to read Cantonese and can take your time if you want a kind of leisurely experience. If you're confused about anything you can just ask to see what's in the pushcart and they'll let you just look at the food. We ordered a lot and it wound up being about 20$ per person.

My husband and I wanted dim sum for breakfast and their food was delicious. The only thing I didn't like was the women's bathroom. There were dying roaches and the bathrooms wasn't clean and no handsoap or paper towels. My husband loves the food but I think we need to find a cleaner spot.
