Perfect location on Sunset Blvd. The building has a parking structure that connects to the location. There's a seating patio outside before going inside Catalina Jazz Club. Inside Catalina Jazz Club is nice and roomy, it's not crowded great for private conversations. The food is nothing to talk about better off eating before arriving. Unfortunately, my party and myself did not enjoy the performance the night we went.

Great place for some fantastic live music. Bass Essentials, with Victor Wooten and Steve Bailey...WOW!!Drummer, Derico Watson filling in for Gregg Bissonette was amazing. In the pocket all night.Good food, every seat close to the stage.Walk through the garage to the entrance.

Visiting from Florida. We saw Deedee Bridgewater! Amazing. I was in Cali 4 years ago and we came to see Miki Howard. The food was delicious. I had the Shrimp Scampi. I love this place!

The Catalina is THE place to see world class jazz performers in LA. I've been to three shows here and every time the performance was incredible. From Dr. Art Davis and his legendary double bass to Arturo Sandoval and his screeching solos, you can find all styles of jazz here. The food is delicious, and the drinks are strong. There's not a bad seat in the building and the staff works swiftly without being a distraction to the performance.

Great place to impress a date or your girlfriend or boyfriend. The food is very delicious and the drinks are great the service was phenomenal and the Atmosphere Was superb. A little pricey but worth every penny.

We loved this place!A friend had her birthday party there and it was the perfect place, they gave us the private room in the back and we had a blast!I think this is a great place to take friends from out of town and I'm planning on it.

HUGE does not do this place justice. The upper foyer empties into a basement that could easily house hundreds of winos. The basic premise is that you get a card and go to the different wineries and purchase tastes. This is both good and bad. The good is that there's no friction; the bad is that there's no friction and your bill will likely be much higher than you thought. And, even if you buy a $50 bottle of wine, they don't credit your tastings back. Boo! But, given the proximity of so many wineries, the tasting was fun (and boozy), even though I racked up a big ol' bill.

I like this place, and have been there quite a few times since they opened. Last night i had my first negative experience, and as it was caused by a misunderstanding/lack of clarity, it's worth a comment to the rest of San Francisco, in the hopes of averting ruining anyone else's evening. Basically, this place is not a bar. It's as simple as that. Sure they serve wine, but it's not by the glass, it's by the taste. A taste will run you between 5-9 dollars.
