We were looking for some good Caribbean food in LA and this spot exceeded our expectations. Exceptional, personable service and wonderful made to order food.

Flavorful. Friendly. Fashionable. CSKLA doesn't mess around. Their mild is delicious and is spicier than Tabasco. Their portions are epic. Their jerk chicken and yucca fries are must haves! The staff is personable and knowledgeable. Everything from the music to the tables bring about an aesthetic that takes you away from the rat race. It is a smaller location so large parties should probably get the food to go. Come in and grab yourself a Sorrel Hibiscus. You won't regret it!

Absolutely loved the service and the food! Walked in with not really a clue what to order but I love Caribbean food so I had high hopes. I’ve never had Panamanian food so I was excited to see what I was missing out on.I had my dog with me, and after I asked a question about how many pieces of chicken came on the chicken bowl (6 wingettes, very generous) I ordered and waited outside (they have an outdoor patio on Wilshire Blvd. so you can people watch). My food came out within 10 minutes and the lovely lady, she must’ve been the owner, came out to hand me my to go bag and she said hi to my pup. We chatted about our fur babies for a little bit, hers sounded sooo precious and my dog definitely liked her.I took my bag of food and walked home. I could smell it the whole way home and was so happy when I opened the container the food was hot, and was not jostled around at all by my walk because the container was so packed!!The chicken was amazing, I got the mild and it still packed some heat! Just enough for me to enjoy the flavor of everything. The rice and peas were great, so full of flavor, and complimented by the cabbage served on the side. The plantains were the perfect combo after a bite of everything savory, it offset the spice perfectly.10/10, can’t wait to go back and try more from this place. I definitely have my eye on those oxtails.

Excellent Oxtail, plantain but the best was the fish and the cauliflower ! Owners are very nice!!

Passion, authenticity, and the warmth of family are clearly represented here. My interest was piqued from reading the reviews, and after stopping through I must say the quality of the food and the overall experience soared beyond expectations. If you find yourself in/near the Miracle Mile area do not miss this opportunity!

It was well worth the drive. Exceeded expectations. Fried snapper with red beans and rice, yuca fries and plantain omg.

The best in L.A. The Panamanian-Caribbean food is awesome. Ordered a little bit of everything (photo below). I was wow-ed at first bite. Friendly owners and love the new restaurant in the neighborhood. Enjoyed our takeout tonight and will be back soon. Fresh, not frozen! The juices are so delicious too!

The red snapper is amazing. The jerk Mac and cheese is a very nice twist to an American classic. The jerk sauce is awesome. I love how they have it how ever mild or hot you want it. The cabbage is great. This place is definitely in my regular rotation.

I am not impressed. $50 down the drain. My dad is from Trinidad & mom from Belize & boyfriend from Jamaica & this food needs some help. I got the jerk bowl, jerk mac & cheese & ginger pineapple. The good... jerk mac & cheese was a good flavor didn't taste very homemade. The drink was okay.. had a medicine after taste. The bad.. they forgot my Cabbage in my bowl.. the plantains was dry, chicken are wings.. I thought it would be breast since it's in a bowl but the flavor was okay more spicy than flavorful. The rice & peas were undercooked.. rice was hard & I live right around the corner why was my food cold. I was so happy to see that we had a Caribbean restaurant in the neighborhood and I was very disappointed. I will continue to go to Belizian paradise or wii jammin

So filling! Incredibly tender and some perfect sauces and dry rub. We had oxtail and chicken bowls and everything was perfect. The drinks we had were Pineapple Ginger and Hibiscus Sorrel. Never had anything like them.Prices were so worth the experience.
