We have no complaints about our visit. Yes, the night was a tad expensive but for the experience and the food/service, it was a solid value. The service was friendly, fast and welcoming yet we never felt rushed or bothered. Every dish from the appetizers to desserts, as well as wine, was delicious.

I have been going here for about 9 years. I've never been disappointed. Food quality has always been terrific. They are so great I had them cater my baby shower in July of 2021. The pasta, sauce, and vegetables were great even though they had been sitting for about two hours. I will probably continue eating here forever.

Great neighborhood gem! The food is sensational, always made to order fresh. The staff is excellent starting with your welcome from the hostess. Covid protocols are honored n every way. Indoor and outdoor seating, with heat lamps. Great place to catch a sunset while drinking some fine Italian wine!

Extremely disappointed with this place. One star review goes for not providing the very basics such as no cockroaches or refusing the customer something to drink.Today I spend over $60 on two small lunches. While I normally order Iced Tea, I only want a plain glass of water to which I was refused. The waitress explained that the owner will not allow them to serve water, a very obvious way to inflate the tab.I was not looking for fancy water. I had politely asked for a glass of water with our $60 meal and was refused. I have been here a few times in the past. Will never give my business to this place again and I suggest you don't as well.I was only one of two table eating for lunch. Wonder why?

I can appreciate they give food to homeless people but my experience was just not good.Came to get a pick-up order that was ready. Made me wait additional 50 mins!!!!! Cause they were still working on it.They didn’t offer to let me sit inside, no water (as it goes against their policies). Finally my order had very little clams. No excuse for this at all!I won’t be coming back.

This restaurant will leave you parched. They refuse to give you water claiming it's the policy of the restaurant owner. All they are trying to do is plump the check. Bad service. Don't waste your money her.e

We got in late and were last table seated outside. Everyone was very friendly and service was excellent. If you want easy, casual Italian this is a good choice.

Im an old time costumer here... over 20 years... love the local mammas papas businesses... this is definitely a good low-key restaurant... their bread, pastas salads are amazing. For sure a place to enjoy ?

Great service, but we had higher expectations for our cappuccinos. And they overcharged us for tiramisu $19.90 for two while in the menu they were $6.95 each. Go figure.

I can’t wait to come back. The hostess was lovely and the waiter was a hunk and after a long workday all I wanted was some classic Italo-American fare. The chicken Milanese was thin and crisp and perfect, the pasta al dente and the sauce was bright red with a classic simple flavor of tomato—not burned or overly sweet. I was drawn to it by the Salerno Beach sign on top of the building. As a solo diner this old-school joint made me feel welcome, well fed, and happy to return a second time during my stay in Los Angeles.
