The food was great but it was the staff that stood out to me; they are all so friendly! We also enjoyed the beer selection :)

This dining experience was not what I expected. I come here for lunch with no problem but this time for dinner I might not want to come back to dine in this location. The hostess was nice and sympathetic. The waiter got our full order but did not enter one of my dishes. I as a diner shouldn’t be asking what happened to my dish. The waiter should have made sure that all of our dishes came to the table. I did not leave a tip I just left the table. There was no service recovery from the waiter or the manager on duty.
My father and I took my young son to Cafe Gratitude for my Mother’s Day Brunch just after relocating to the neighborhood. We walked over and sat outside late in the day - it was SO pleasant. The food and service was a perfect match. There was a nice flow of other local families, couples and other folks - the table was cozy - but the food and service was the highlight. EVERYTHING we ordered was delicious! My dad is not vegan and though I primarily feed my little boy a very wholesome organic pescatarian diet - we did not miss the animal protein at all! The flavors and textures were all spot on! AND the service was wonderful! They catered to my little guys needs and antics at every turn (leaving the table repeatedly, throwing a wooden platter on the floor, screaming and crying, and asking for extra sauces again and again lol…) and they just rolled with it! They were very kind and totally understanding of our needs and more than happy to provide A+ service regardless of the fact that we were ‘that’ table ;). I’ve always heard great things about this place and can happily say that now that I live in the neighborhood - and have enjoyed a really nice brunch there - we will definitely be back again and again in the very near future. Bad service, very disappointed in a place where we used to come for several years. It became less professional through time… I had a reservation at 12:45pm for Mother’s Day. Anybody came for giving us the menu or even taking care of setting the table. The table stayed empty with no glasses, cutlery nothing. Once we got the menu, it was too late to order from the “breakfast brunch menu”, they said it is “only till 1pm. I was hoping the time of reservation was more important, mostly when clients are forgotten at their tables. The manager was there too and she did take care of it neither… Like I said, Cafe Gratitude was so lovely, nice before!!! I even knew the place when the staff asked if you knew the citations of the day. They did that before. They shared with you a sentence which makes you think during your meal. Anyway, like I said… it was before… I can wait before coming back.
