Excellent food and service as usual. Helpful and cooperative staff. Good portions for the price. Great funky atmosphere. Outdoor service is sometimes problematic because of traffic noises, but indoors the tables are a comfortable distance apart.
Tastes like a fresh home cooked Brazilian meal. Been going for decades and the owners are still making amazing food. Fresh juices, lunch combos, and an array of appetizers including deserts makes this a gem. I've taken various friends and coworkers and they all rave about how it tastes, smells, and the whole vibe of the establishment as a whole.
DEFINITELY and authentic taste of Brazil. Cheesy bread appetizers are a must try. Menu is elaborate and full of authentic entrées desserts and sides. I always Opt for the lentil soup! Yummmm! Healthy and filling. Located in Culver City it’s off the beaten path of the LA hustle and bustle. Outdoor seating is gorgeous and full of character.
This place has a soft place in my heart/belly. Dining in is a better experience than ordering delivery through a service. After ordering the other day I've hesitate to review due to the quality of what I received, due to the delivery provider. Foods flavor, while a bit subdued, is one of a kind. The subtle hints of South American Latin fills senses that rarely get triggered in California. One thing to note is that the brown rice is worth the price hike.
We have recently moved into this area and passed by this place several times. Cosy, warmly lit, always with people inside, so we were destined to try it at least once..The pros - food was freshly cooked, place has a good decor and they checked our vaccination cards..Cons.... we paid $80 for very-very sub-par food. My dish was mixed up at first and they forgot to serve our desert. We ordered fish and both our dishes were over-cooked (mine was burned). Side salat was just leafy greens with a few drops of dressing. Food was so average that we were fighting an urge to drawn everything in any available sauce, but there was none... last, but not least, the restaurant gives a vibe of self-service place where you get a plastic tray with all your dishes left on it for you to eat from... Needless to say, we are not dining there ever back.
THE FOOD IS SO GOOD!!! It’s very clean inside, they follow covid protocols as well. The food is clean, did I say it was good. LOVE IT. I 100% recommended.
$80 for two. My food was mixed up, our fish was over-cooked (mine was burned). Side salat was just leafy greens with a few drops of dressing. Food was below average.
Cafe Brasil is the best Brazilian food in town - if not the US... The new location on Washington is not too far from the Old location on Venice - My wife and I always share the Chef's combo pasta with picante spice added. The black bean soup is the best. Everything tastes fresh and homemade...!!!
We love the breakfast here! And the fresh squeezed passion fruit juice! The eggs are so tasty and the coffee is delightful. We bring out of town guests here whenever possible. The colorful decor reminds us of our vacation in Brazil some years back.
Love this place, perfect for dates or meeting with friends❤️ super authentic, delicious food/caipirinha, cosy terrasse always playing Brazilian jam.
