We heard about this place by word of mouth. What luck! This is a charming restaurant or diner that is reminiscent of the 1950’s. Lots of memorabilia on the walls and ceilings. Great menu and friendly service that focused on following all recommended Covid protocols with a smile. They checked fir vaccination status and everyone including staff wore masks unless you are seated and eating. The food was delicious and ample. We enjoyed sandwiches, cole slaw, burgers, fries, onion rings and specialty milk shakes. We will definitely be back. These challenging times for restaurants make their business a hard slog uphill…you can help by being a cooperative patron and customer.

Cafe 50's is awesome. They have a great family atmosphere and everyone is super friendly. They have outdoor seating and I brought my puppy Euler to join us for breakfast. They gave him treats and made him feel welcome.Their food is great. You can't go wrong with any of their breakfast selections, but I would highly recommend the breakfast burrito, French toast or the Father Knows Best omelette.

Café 50's is a great place to go for a diner experience. The staff was friendly and the service was impeccable. The food is your typical diner menu with a nice long list of shakes to choose from - I had an orange creamsicle shake and it was delicious. I highly recommend stopping in here for a dose of fun nostalgia and good food. Bonus - they're open until midnight!

This place had a great vibe! They had lots of memorabilia and decorations from...you guessed it...the 50s, and the food was delicious too. The service was beyond friendly, and when we first sat down, the host threw down some toy tops on the table. It was surprising but very unique and cute! We took one home with us. We ordered waffles, french toast, eggs, sausage, and some refillable coffees. It was a huge meal and I could barely finish it all, but it was an overall great dining experience.

We loved the ambient creatures there. You will feel likes 1950! We try milkshakes, Joe’ Breakfast and then all you can drink coffe. Great food servicies! I’ll comeBack!

This our 1st time here. Vaccine Card required. You will be seated upon arrival. Our waitress was Kim. She was very nice and attentive. The memorabilia is amazing. The menu has variety. We ordered the Double Deluxe Cheese Burger with a side of chili bowl. Junior Chicken Strips with fries. 2 Eggs Breakfast with Bacon and shredded hash browns, side order of biscuits with gravy. Bloody Mary, Banana Walnut Shake, Apple Juice and Water. Burger came opened face with spear toothed picked into the burgers condiment side, lettuce and tomato. Breakfast was large portion eggs very fluffy scrambled. Hash browns small crunch and still off too. I had 5 pieces of bacon in my plate. The biscuits were soft I could use my fork to break a piece off to eat. The gravy not a white color, its slightly looks gray and there was good flavor. The Junior Chicken Strip Tenders with fries was good. We had to taste them of course. 2 Medium to Large sized Chicken Strips. Very nicely cooked had some good breading crunch. Fries a bit thicker than shoe string fries cooked just right. Salted. My child received the best customer service ever. She received a plastic cup with crayola crayons and a paper print out of a image. Then she was given a Tiger mask and asked for her favorite color and brought her a balloon. Our bill was $63.49. We will be returning with more friends so they may experience this.

Rude service, using allergens more than once. Only excuse from the same manager 3 separate times at night time. "We're busy". No apology or refund.

Cafe 50's on Santa Monica Blvd is one of the best diners in the COUNTRY. This is coming from someone who grew up in NYC and diner-life is very much the culture. Having just moved here to LA, I felt at home again. The staff is extremely nice, they can customize any orders to your liking, and the price is incredible. Not to mention the great music and plethora of artwork/albums in the place! You're practically getting a museum and diner in one.Shout out to the staff who made a custom order for me every morning for me to grab and go before I go into work. We worked out my favorite breakfast that is healthy, quick, and fast. I can't recommend this place enough! LOVE IT.

Super cute themed diner. Lots of cool stuff to look at and food was large portions and tasty. Server was great.

Good food for the price. Actual 50's nostalgic. The wait staff was really helpful and courteous and refills were prompt. I could see it's a neigborhood diners and lot of locals were greeted on a first name basis. Food was above average but all in all good experience
