Their submarine sandwiches are so good. Plenty of tasty meat. Super fresh, soft buns. They have a high assortment of cold drinks. Call ahead and order because most of the time there's a wait. Their parking lot only holds 3 cars. So you're likely to park on the street. Not that easy. Can't eat there-no seating/tables. We pick up our food and go to the nearby park that overlooks the ocean and eat there. Might want to see if "CASH ONLY". I don't remember.
This is an absolutely must if you are in San Pedro. It’s been around for a long time. I’ve been coming here for over 20 years. Never once had a bad sandwich. Prices have gone up but hey what hasn’t? If you want to avoid the line place a phone order or avoid going at lunch time. Even if you find yourself waiting I promise it will be well worth it. Highly recommend the Meatball the pastrami the belly buster and if you want a cold sandwich get them torpedo. What ever you choose to get I promise you your tastebuds will enjoy every single bite.
Never a disappointment!!! Fresh deli meats sliced to perfection. They also have hot sandwich options. All sandwiches come in one size in white or wheat. A vast variety of chips and drinks to complement and make your sandwich a meal. Fast and friendly service. A stop is a must whenever I'm in San Pedro.
This place is an icon in San Pedro. My usual is to stop in and grab a torpedo sub sandwich which they have already made up and sitting in container on the counter top. Great sandwich and fast. The only down side to this place is that it is so popular that there is almost always a long line. But it's definitely worth the wait.

The best sandwiches in town and it's completely worth the wait in that long line going out the door. The gentlemen behind the counter operate and move like a well oiled machine, they're fast and some have been there for decades. This spot is a stripped down deli - sandwiches, chips, and drinks and that's it. Cash only so be prepared but they do have an ATM on site. One noticeable change, they do not enforce their patrons wear their masks indoors.
Cash only mom and pop type sandwich shop/market. I had the hot pastrami. They warm up the meat in hot water before putting it on the bun. I love this style of pastrami sandwich, and it's hard to find places that serve it like this. They add lots of pickles and I asked for extra mustard. One of my all time favorite hot pastrami sandwiches. I grabbed a Perrier and some chips, drove to the Korean Friendship Bell, and ate my sandwich with an unobstructed view of Catalina Island and the Korean Friendship Bell. All around awesomeness!
Been coming here since I was a kid and it still tastes exactly the same! DELICIOUS! Nothing beats a belly buster with a nice scenic view of the ocean. This place is cash only so make sure to bring some cash.
