good spot. great music. my friend and i liked the decorations a lot. there was only 1 bartender but there wasn’t a wait on getting drinks. she was cool. i will say that the drinks were more expensive than we thought. we walked over from another bar right before coming here which had cheaper drinks. that’s the only reason we’re likely not going to be coming a lot but would definitely show someone visiting this cool spot!!
I live in New York and have spent many hours in dive bars in the east village and alphabet city. I love Burgundy Room. If you go right when they open, you have the bar nearly to yourself for a while. The playlist has been excellent and sets the right kind of dive-bar mood. Bartenders have always been just the right amount of standoffish for me.

I hope management sees this, its specifically for Taylor. She was absolutely wonderful. Amazing customer service, very fast, clean, and kind. She kept her cool with multiple rude customers, remembered our names and our drinks, and was very accommodating. The place is great too, it's dark and cozy and if you can get a booth (careful with the step up!!) You are golden! They played great music too. Would absolutely come back :)
