Location is close to LAX airport. They have a shuttle service. Checkin was alright. They recognized me as a Titanium member and offered late checkout (which I did not need). I asked about the free breakfast that I was supposed to get and it took me asking for them to tell me they did not have a restaurant !!! He offered that I could purchase breakfast at their Coffee shop. No apologies for not providing free vouchers to the coffee shop etc. Pathetic lack of customer service. Off the 3 elevators only 1 was working. One was stuck on Floor 4 and the one in the middle wasnt even lit up. Looooong waits if you want to use the elevator. They said there is coffee in the room. Went all the way to the room to find that all they had was DeCaf in the room. Another 15 minutes were wasted riding their elevators downstairs to get regular coffee !!! They have a TV in the room that is smaller than my computer monitor at home! Is this 2022? Everybody has a 40-50" flat screen in the hotel rooms, but at the Four Points, they are still stuck in the 20th century. Got to the front desk to checkout at 7:25 am to turn in my room keys. There are 3 counters at Reception and ZERO employees at the Reception. The Coffee shop right next to it was fully staffed and they seemed to be doing brisk business. They said that the Airport shuttle operates every 30 minutes starting at 4:00 am. I show up at 7:25 hoping to take the 7:30 shuttle. The shuttle finally shows up at 7:43 !!! Got to the airport at 8:15 after fighting traffic. Overall, a most dissatisfying stay. Highly recommend you avoid this rinky dink joint.

Was staying at the hotel for a night on June 4, 2022, as had a flight to catch the next day to Mumbai via Dubai. Chose the hotel only because of the location near the LA international airport. The hotel is under staffed and you should be prepared to wait for more than 30 minutes (after on-line check-in) for your check-in and check-out. On the hotel drive way there are people smoking weed as well in the lobby area, so if you are travelling with family and kids MUST AVOID May be I am spoilt by the hotels in India, but the hotels in the USA do not provide, free parking, luggage assistance, complimentary wifi and host of other things which are standard for a hotel in India. Just for reference and cost comparison; if you stay at the ALoft (a Marriott signature hotel) at the New Delhi Aerocity a double occupancy room inclusive of taxes and inclusive of: Buffet Breakfast, Access to swimming pool and fitness centre, Free Wifi, Free onsite parking etc, will cost you about US $ 110 and at Four Point by Shereton LAX you pay just for the room US $ 200. The hotel does not have luggage trolleys, and when you ask the staff on duty the answer is, "some guests took it and have not returned it". The housekeeping and upkeep of the guest rooms is worst. We had booked a room for three people (option available on their website) and the room had utilities for one person only. The toilet was unclean and the linen stinks. When you dial housekeeping, they do not answer the phone, so had to go to the reception on the ground floor and after waiting for 15 minutes for the representative to attend to me, the reply was "call operator". The representative was not even willing to listen to me further and repeated "call operator". All I was in need of was towels for the other two guests. The toilet supplies were no where near a five start hotel standards. If you check out the quality of the moisturiser placed on the wash basin counter, you will realise that the purchase department of the hotel either does not have a quality check or it is manned by corrupt people. Just to get the car out of the parking lot, had to wait for the attendant to open the parking lot for more than 20 minutes. This is after paying $ 42 for overnight car parking on the hotel premises.

Stayed overnight after a late arrival because this hotel, as well as its neighboring corporate brother Renaissance, are convenient to the rental car agencies nearby (Budget, Avis, Hertz). The Four Points was the cheaper of the two, but I probably should have splurged. The first warning sign was the shuttle driver, who, despite having three empty seats, waved us off saying “there is an empty one right behind me”. There was, indeed, another shuttle right behind him, but we never got to find out if he was empty or not, as he simply sped by. The next shuttle took another 15 minutes to arrive. The hotel has reception windows. One was staffed by a clearly overwhelmed front desk clerk. One more had a young gentleman who was in such a hurry to get out of there, that manners weren’t super high on his priorities list. Neither my Gold status nor my actual member number were acknowledged. The towers are a maze. Room 559 is located nowhere near room 558 and 560. The place itself reeks (literally and figuratively) of a 1970s motel, complete with windows that only face the hallway (so forget natural light in the morning lest you want every passerby to see you in your bedtime’s finest) and furniture that evidently hasn’t been updated since the place was built. Sound insulation is a joke. There are USB ports built into the desk (the one sign of 21st century civilization), but ours didn’t work. Our room, despite being a non-smoking one, definitely remembers the times when this wasn’t the case. The bathroom clearly hasn’t been updated in ages, either. The bed was comfortable enough (or maybe it was that we were so tired we didn’t notice). That’s about the only positive I can think of. If you want to save money, go the whole way and book an actual motel. At least then you will know exactly what you’re getting.

At first impressions the hotel seems good enough to lay your head down to sleep. But check-in process has taken over an hour. The line went to the door. Think twice before booking unless you have an extra couple of hours before you get to your room.

Although plagued by the staffing shortages affecting all hotels at this time, this hotel is well-maintained with a good restaurant/bar and prompt shuttle service to/from LAX. A great value surrounded by three other Marriott properties . . .

The limited staff at this hotel was kind. The rooms were filthy and uncomfortable. Restaurant/ Bar was very inconsistent about their hours and it was impossible and I get a hold of the front desk from your room. Skip this hotel. There are so many others.

On hold for central reservations at 12:00 am, hotel was booked due to flight cancellations. Front desk supervisor who refused to give his name when he weaved a fairy tale. Earlier he had told me to wait he will find a room. In appreciation I gave he and his lady coworker 25 bundles of coffee collected from hotels plus each a Lindt Orange chocolate candy bar. I presented my card and it was declined. I called the credit card company and they had no record of any transaction declined. At times like this the smart front desk people enter the card manually in their computer and it always takes. As 4:00 am approached as was on hold for over an hour, I approached the desk and asked them to manually input the card. They would not and asked me to leave. At LAX I called back knowing now the system had rolled over and checking in now would let me leave on Saturday. He gave a song and dance stating they just had a rush. Rush my you know what as I boarded the bus to LAX a half mile away and no one had arrived. He went through the usual Pavlov hungry dog ringing the bell routine stating rooms have to be cleaned starting at 8, you can check in at 11. No care that I had been up all night. No thank you when presented with gifts no one else would care about. Well I was born at night, but not last night.

There seems to be a slew of 1-star extreme negative reviews in recent months, glad to say I did NOT experience any of the complaint. Rooms were clean, albeit a bit aged. No foul smell or homeless encampment as accused. Pillows were NOT flat. Staffs were all courteous and friendly, from front desk to the Brewster Bar. Can't comment on the shuttle, and parking was $42 + "convenience fee" of 4.20.

I am a Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite member and booked my reservation via parksleepfly.com. I paid a portion of the bill via the website at the time of reservation and was to pay the remainder at the hotel. Ok, cool. Upon arrival, my reservation was unable to be found. Thankfully, the hotel staff did whatever it is they do to find it/ensure I had a room. Other than poor communication (I waited for 10 minutes at check-in while they were in the office) the experience was fine at that point. I was then told that my card was not on file, so I swiped it for the remainder. Upon checking out this morning, I requested a hard copy of my folio at which time I was told that my card was not on file again, so I swiped it again. This did not sit well so when I arrived at the airport I checked my transactions and have been charged 3 separate times for the same stay, all in differing amounts. I tried calling the hotel for 20 minutes straight and my call was never answered (it just kept ringing). Can a manager please call me ASAP to get this resolved? Also, the entire floor I was on reeked of weed!

I stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton near LAX after landing from SFO for my flight to NRT the following afternoon. It took a bit to find the shuttle stop at the airport but it arrived after maybe about 15 mins and took us right at the entrance, which was about a 10 min drive away. As what most have described, check-in was a bit long with many travelers arriving late at night and two agents manning the front desk. I commend the staff on handling a few irate customers with various problems, as folks were tired and cranky. As a Marriott Bonvoy Titanium Elite, I was neither offered an upgrade nor greeted as such in other hotels. I also did not receive the two bottled waters that were offered to other guests, though I noticed that it was mainly one agent who gave out the waters. As well, I originally booked a single King bed room but was told that they only had 2 Queens, which was strange because when I checked the booking site they had single King rooms available and suites for upgrades that night. I feel like the check-in agent just wanted to get me in whatever basic room was available at that point. The room itself was adequate for the short stay. I have to give kudos to one of the housekeeping staff who saw me leaving with my suitcase the next morning that offered me a bottle of water. A small gesture but greatly appreciated. I also had a late dinner at Brewster's, which was fine. The staff were nice and attentive. Overall, an acceptable place to stay near the airport that is convenient, but the lack of recognition and service for elites was a bit disappointing.
