Would give zero stars if possible. Rudest customer service ever, very overpriced and your drink is mostly ice. Taste was fine but will never go back. I usually give places with terrible reviews a chance, but there’s a reason this one is so bad. There are better options in Sawtelle with pleasant staff.
Overpriced, Gross Milk Teas, and Extremely Rude Service. DON’T COME HERE!!!Okay so I’m usually not one to ever post reviews or even bad reviews because i’ve worked in the food service, but this experience was so bad I had to post something. The woman working the register and running the store at the time I was there was SO RUDE. Like the kind of rude where after I ordered my drink and left my gf outside (she was sitting outside with a person we were meeting there) she walked out there and said “Can you???” and made the hand gesture like she was shooing them away. My gf proceeded to point at me in the store and say that they were with me and she rolled her eyes and said nothing else. When she walked back in I also said they were with me and she made up some lie saying “I was just checking because sometimes costumers miss their orders”. My gf and the person we were meeting ended up getting their own drinks even though it was just going to be me getting one so she’d be less rude… didn’t work. Then when my drink was ready she screamed “HELLOO” at me like I wasn’t a person, and when the rest of my groups drinks were ready again she screamed “HELLOOO” at us. I watched her multiple times to other customers ding the bell she had to let them know their drink was ready, so don’t really understand why she had to scream at us. And then to top all of this off the drinks were TRASH, like I’m talking so so bad. And they were like $7, just for gross powder water that poorly mimics milk tea and one of the most unpleasant woman I’ve ever had the displeasure of meeting!
Iced sugar free black tea — charged $7.50. Its price was 50 cents to a dollar to be reasonable.Felt extremely harassed. Please price your drinks reasonably and concentrate more on customers rather than on making the most profit possible.
Honest the boba is decent but obviously over priced. The “lady” hasn’t ever been rude to me but I’ve seen her yell at people and it’s kinda hilarious. Usually pick up a boba after getting Baja buds but recently they’re always closed and I just go down to sawtelle to get the top shelf boba
It’s my first time here. I was the only one at the shop. And my regular sized green milk tea consisted mostly of ice. And I asked for easy Boba. On top of paying the fee to use Apple Pay. Idk but there’s better value if you’re in this neighborhood and just keep going along Sawtelle
This used to be one of my favorite places until recently. I stopped in for a boba and had bad service. The woman all but yelled at me when I ordered. We all have bad days, but she stopped short of making fun of me while I was ordering. That seems unnecessary. I won't be back.
Kind of an It’s Boba Time rip off and the milk tea isn’t amazing, but they do a Strawberry Coconut better than anybody else! I don’t know why theirs is so good, but it’s just perfection. Worth going there just for it!
The bubble tea is super good and the woman working the shop was extremely kind! Thank you so much
Their COVID set up is perfect. They only allow 3 people in at a time and have cute little chalk drawings outside to keep social distancing between customers. Once inside the baristas are so nice while they are working efficiently to get customers in and out. Overall a great experience. I ordered the birthday cake latte
Very interesting kind of drink... loved the coffee flavor option. Drink is prepared in front of you (always fresh) and offered to go. Service was prompt and very cordial. Prices are very reasonable. Recommended for anyone in the area. The coffee flavoured Bubba was my absolutely favorite... will make sure to visit the place again whenever I'm back in the area!
