Walked in and Selena (I hope that is how you spell it...) greeted me. I told her it was my first time and that my brother recommended the Shakerato. Selena told me that it was a good drink to be introduced to blue bottle. She asked if I wanted anything else and I noticed they had pastries. Waffles!! I contained the inner kid as my eyes widened and I looked back at Selena and said "a waffle please...".Selena was kind, patient, welcoming, and all around friendly. She made the experience very great. The Shakerato and waffle were delicious. I left with a good impression and an understanding as to why it's always busy at blue bottle.Thank you. God bless.
Great location and one of the nicer blue bottles! Hey it's in the Bradbury building so it has to be nice. One of the larger locations with ample seating and standing space. You can even get El Pollo Loco or Carl's Jr. right after. As with a lot of DTLA the nicer places are mixed in with interesting neighbors. Same great coffee s and service. Unfortunately the Bradbury build entrance is closed to the public at this time. Highly recommend.
“Unbeatable” coffee; delicious pastries; cool urban vibes; friendly staff. Great place for a coffee break in DTLA!
Modern, clean, and spacious cafe near the Grand Central Market, could be good for working. The baristas were all super friendly and enthusiastic. Also, oat milk for no extra charge (almond milk is 1.25)!
Yes, you read that right. Without a doubt. It is the quintessential cafe with the pour over coffee, nice little area for your creamer and such, as well as tall ceilings and huge glass sides so you can see people. We sat at the big kids table and enjoyed our drinks. Books are there, with couches as well as other tables. I really wished I grabbed a pound of coffee to take back, but I’m sure the LAX drug dogs would be onto that. So, I grabbed a small cup as a souvenir. Staff is absolutely wonderful and very friendly. My only complaint is the combination lock on the restrooms. Because when nature calls, you NEED to answer it. If I had to say something that could improve, that would be it. But given the homeless plight in the area, it’s understandable. My wife had the Chai Tea, and went nuts for it. I went with the Winter Blend pour-over, and - you read that title right. Ever.
Espresso is very thick and densely extracted. Coffee offered are usually acidic.
It's my favorite hangout in the area. The staff are friendly, the coffee is delicious, the music is good, and the ceilings are high. I don't want any more
Expensive but worth it when you get some of the best latte/cold brews in your life. Customer service was exceptional as well and they explained their recommendations perfectly. Come here
Great service, awesome staff, and better coffee. The coffee is amazingly smooth and never acidic or bitter, although that can be desired at times.Mainly order pour overs, iced americanos, or lattes and all three are the some of the best I have ever tried at this establishment. I’d give this place a try, although sometimes staff is visibly flustered during their morning rush they always make a great cup of coffee.
Great coffee! Freeman believes that coffee should not be consumed more than three days out of the roaster. This coffee is smooth, fresh, simply amazing☕️??Love the decor in the store!! Super clean too???
