Not a fan of the overall process! You have to order everything on your phone and pay before you get your meal. I’m usually an add as I go eater/drinker. I got my two mimosas at the same time as my meal, took away my whole brunch ambiance. As a server this is the first time I ever tipped under 20% because I did the majority of the work. Staff was nice but if you want to wine and dine this isn’t it. Food was great tho! But I’ll just do take out then.
We ordered Rancheros, crunchy French toast, California omelette, orange juice, El paso chicken sandwich and latte. All the food was fresh and good.
Awesome and friendly service. So nice! Food is absolutely fantastic. Very flavorful and great portions. Parking is chaotic though. But everything else is great. Lovely ambiance, plenty of seating, wait isn't too long.
Yummy food and a nice environment! I came here for brunch and really enjoyed my meal. We are vegetarian and still had good options for food. We will be back! I prefer this location over the melrose location
Tasty breakfast cafe. My Blue Jam Benedict was just Ok. However, my wife’s open face omelette and my friend’s hangover special were REALLY good! The coffee was great as well. However, for $4.50 a cup with no refills is not cool. Also, the phone-based food ordering system is annoying. It took way longer than it should. No table waiting service. I later found out you can order inside. I suggest you go straight to the counter ordering inside and don’t deal with online system. Overall, I did enjoy the breakfast. ?
The breakfast hash is on another level. Crunchy French toast is very unique and tasty with fruit jam. This is a reliable brunch spot.
The food was delicious and the staff was so friendly and helpful I wouldn’t definitely go back. Food comes out fast hot and fresh!
Blu Jam cafe offers both traditional and creative brunch food. It’s almost always busy on weekends so you may expect a 20-30 mins wait to dine here. You don’t order with waiters but either through their website or a designated order location with a staff behind the kiosk. Food was brought to the table since you gave them table numbers when placing the order.Food came after 15-20 mins of wait. Both things we ordered looked really nice. The special CRUNCHY CRISTO was definitely something I’ve never tried before. Very delicious but filling. The hash, on the other hand, was more traditional style. I liked that they cut the potatoes into small cubes, it’s not soggy at all, one of the best version of the hash at brunch restaurants!
Worth trying this restaurant when you have the opportunity. Ordered Rancheros, toast with extra jam & a dirty chai. Rancheros was delicious! Very well made with fresh ingredients! Flavors blended nicely. The dirty Chai was made well also. Unfortunately the toast I received had no jam. None on the toast or on the side. I was really looking forward to the little sweet bit. Toast wasn't very flavorful & kind of chewy. Hince plain toast. I imagine it's probably great with the jam. My thoughts, best to eat in or pick up yourself to insure your order is complete & correct. Reasonable priced with other similar restaurants. ?
I have mixed feelings about blu jam. The staff was nice and helpful. The food was okay nothing to truly brag about, but I feel like the restaurant was a bit too futuristic for me they don't accept cash, you order via your phone they don't have syrup for the French Toast .... its a cafe right? The place was clean and the location was very nice. I'm just not that impressed sorry...
