Decided to get lunch here seemed pretty good. After getting some ribs and corn bread. The corn bread was dryer than the Sahara dessert crumbling as soon as you grab it, not sure what kind of rub they use but it doesn't taste good on the ribs. Completely waist of lunch and money not cheap either. Definitely my first and last time for me at this place.
I don't want to leave a negative review because I understand how important ratings are. HOWEVER this chicken does not taste smoked. I would definitely compare it to rotisserie chicken covered in BBQ sauce. If you're in the mood for smoked food, this ain't it.
The ribs was extremely tender and juicy!!! Bake beans awesome, corn is good...I will definitely be back again

I got an upset stomach after eating the brisket, beans and macaroni salad from here. Should have known something was up when the brisket was dry and cold.
I went to pick up my order and there's were two ladies attending the place talking each other I stood in front of the pickup window , and both totally ignoring me .
Really enjoyed this smokey jewel of Ktown. Good American BBQ is not the most common food in LA. This nice little spot has skill and goodness to spare. Ribs came off the bone, hot link perfectly cooked, and excellent coleslaw. Cornbread was good but could have been paired better with greens or baked beans. And the spicy BBQ sauce lives to its name.I'll be happy to return again.

Love their brisket burrito! Everything was amazing. Pulled pork was fire, the spicy bbq sauce slaps, and ribs were perfect. Buy the brisket earlier in the day! It’s so good it can run out towards close.
