Saw the review about the lady with tattoos who seems like the owner of some sort and made me feel validated about my experiences in the store, her whole demeanor made me never want to come back here again. Felt very watched and like I did not belong in the store because of her.

This is literally like a small vegan market.Love that they carry soooo much in such a small store. They also now carry plants and soaps, shampoos, toothpaste etc..I shop here about once a week.I might regret saying this.. but you MUST try the chicken Salad sanwhich???They also have soft serve ?

No sugar jam thanksgiving ham why would this place not be busy honestly go every week not counting the 5k run almost like there is a different new product everytime I look at everything many people walk in just to see how different this place is they sell plants in pots biodegradable cleaning supplies incense matches protein power frozen burritos pizza deli sandwiches soft serve floats rainwater in a can oatmeal in a microwavable container jerky candy CBD products visit the website if you want to know the ingredients beforehand peace ✌️

Great selection of heard to find items. So much candy too! They also have hot food (sausages and hot dogs) as well as soft serve ice cream. As a bonus they have a zero waste side of the store with reusable items and refills on shampoo etc. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They also have a rewards program. Highly recommended!

Ok one thing I’m seeing that I don’t like is the store owner responding to peoples complaints & basically guilting them into not leaving an honest review of their experience. “Speak with us directly instead of leaving a review on the internet that can damage our small business.” First of all this isn’t even a “small business” anymore, you guys have grown tremendously. So we’re not gonna discourage people from being honest about their experiences. With that being said here’s my experience, I used to frequent this place because I lived in the neighborhood & I really enjoyed some of the items they carry, not to mention the cool trucks & events and all that jazz. There was one thing that was common throughout most of these visits & that is the coldness of who I believe is the owner of this store. (She has a lot of tattoos) I had to look at HONEST reviews on yelp to make sure I wasn’t crazy. I mean this woman is probably one of the most unpleasant souls I’ve ever encountered. If you don’t want to be pleasant and at least crack a smile & warmly greet your customers then don’t be around so much. She shouldWork behind the scenes cause her presence in the store is extremely off putting.

Serene and spacious casual outdoor dining with a botanical ambience!!! There is a large farmhouse rustic picnic like table that can seat a party of 10, easily! Birthday parties would be ideal here, for that size. They even allow dogs! Love their menu can all have gluten free options! Chill and peaceful vibe! Food is made with love!!

best place to go for specialty vegan items, delicious vegan cheeses, and the pop ups they do are often fantastic

I love this spot. I take friends here and buy them little vegan things to try and the always love it. Would love some more refill options (more laundry soaps/boosters etc if possible) but they always have fun stuff. EVEN VEGAN ZERO WASTE MAKEUP! its incredible!! The candy selection is my favorite. I have a sweet tooth that is usually inhibited by everyting having dairy or gelatin on it, but Besties has allll the vegan goodies. I love it! Also get the soft serve (swirl of course) and a hot dog! its so good!!

I gotta say, I was super disappointed to drive all the way from Long Beach and check this super cool place out just to not be allowed to shop. I was really excited to go in and look around! I followed you guys on insta but I will never spend a dollar at your store, for as long as you follow illegal measures. I don't wear a mask due to religious beliefs and there was NO ONE, at the store when I got there. I could've just shopped quickly and been out the gentleman's hair. I can see why a lot of businesses are cooperating with these illegal measures, but being that this store is "INDEPENDENT. WOMAN-OWNED. SMALL VEGAN BUSINESS THAT CHAMPIONS EQUALITY FOR ALL." I would think you guys were more freedom friendly. There is no "EQUALITY FOR ALL" you shouldn't have this statement on your website. I would also like to add that before I took off, i searched on your ig to see if there was any mask signs and there wasn't. Which is why i decided to drive. I've learned that if I call before hand, some people are skeptical to answering whether a mask is required or not. Not to mention, no where outside the store was there a statement, stating it was required to wear a mask in order to enter.

I love going here! The staff is always super nice and helpful and they have so many amazing products that you can't find anywhere else
