TLDR: This bar hit the holy trinity for me.1. Sports bar showing both the basketball and hockey playoffs2. Comprehensive, efficient beer list (IPA, DIPA, TIPA, Hazy IPA, PA, Blonde, Hefe, Brown, Sour, Milk Stout*) of all high quality beers (Happy Hops, Pliny the Elder(!), IPA Cubed)3. A FULLY VEGAN MENU. It's like this bar was made for me, and I'm so grateful to have happened upon going there.While the first time I had gone there was just for a beer, I went back yesterday to get some food as well. I had the Tasty Burger, and while I didn't realize notice the plantains, this was one of the juiciest vegan burgers I've ever had. I'm not sure if it was the house-pickled jalapeños or the gochujang aioli or the pineapple slaw, but this burger also had a briny-bitter bite to it that I loved. The tots were also gng (good not great) and on the crispier side, but the bartender did me a solid bringing out a few other sauces to try instead of the ketchup I didn't want.Really pleased. A legitimate quality sports-beer-vegan food bar. And that's to say nothing of the lively outdoor space. Thanks Beelman's!
I really liked Beelman's! The ambience is nice, the options are super interesting fusion takes that are really tasty! The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the portion of the elote being so small but the food is very tasty and I would definitely recommend trying it out!
Were looking for a brunch place but accidentally found this bar. Had some hazy IPA and cocktails and I had the breakfast burrito (was good) and wifey had taquitos (really good!). Also, great tasting salad!Had outside seating with front row view of DTLA cast of characters ?Will be back to check out the bar scene ?
OMG this place is amazing! I was so happy to be able to go to an ALL VEGAN pub!!! Food was great and staff is super friendly! Love this place!
Dive Bar pub vibe, with rockin' wall art, social floorplan & outdoor patio...Beelman's has found a way to make vegan food appeal to carnivore's..by frying up delicious craft beers with a dash of machismo..
The vibe and food here are incredible. Friendly staff and very chill atmosphere. Truly a vegan gem in the heart of LA. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit a delightful vegan pub in LA proper.
Inventive burgers! They have a fun variety of inventive burgers on the menu. We tried the impossible and thought it was not bad, not extraordinary either. It’s kinda plain but good if you’re planning to drink. They have a nice looking bar inside and the seating outside has a nice vibe. Service is not excellent, you go and order on the window and they don’t come to check on you but ok. Food arrived super quick, I don’t think it took them like 10 mins, so that was a great plus. Overall, it’s an interesting concept and menu. Good location as well.
Great for secluded Birthday parties, the walls are covered in memorabilia, makes you feel cozy and nostalgic. It has vegan food, which is not my preference, but guess what, the food is super delicious, the shots are authentic. I’m planning to go back
One of my favorite spots in DTLA. Food is delicious, staff is great, and they always have some solid beers on tap. Highly recommend!
The wife and I stumbled upon this little gem and it was delicious!!! This burger that was infused with 3 different flavors was off the chart!!! I will be coming back next time and also a bar that's vegan base, shut the front door AWESOME!!!
