What a lovely place. This is our favorite restaurant in this neighborhood, the food and the drink is amazing and the vibes are absolutely chill and cute. It’s like the perfect spot for an intimate dinner.
Went here a few times over the past couple months, they have lovely appetizers, good wine that is reasonably priced. The owner and/or maitre d make sure that the customer is satisfied, I had their lasagna and also their chicken and both were really nicely cooked. I've only eaten on the outdoor part that faces Hyperion but I would recommend eating further in for a quieter evening.
This restaurant did not disappoint. The entire staff was wonderful, checking on us and accommodating every request without being intrusive. We were sitting in the tented area, and it also appeared there was another seating area which was a little more garden-like. The tent area did not have as much atmosphere, but honestly, we were there for the food. There was a nice wine and beer selection (no cocktails, contrary to some other reviews I saw). We had the burrata and the grilled squid as appetizers, and both were delicious. For the main entrees, our table tried one of the pizzas, a seafood pasta, the rigatoni and the spinach lasagna. Everything was fresh and good. I would definitely return here on my next trip to LA because of the great service and delicous food.
We went on a recommendation from a friend and glad we did. It was what we were looking for. Nice meal and a good glass of wine. The calamari was cooked just right and each if us enjoyed our entree. I had the lasagna bolognese, my husband had a pizza and my friend had the sea bass. They had plenty of outdoor seating, plenty of space heaters and a lovely ambience. I would definitely return.
This is my favorite take-out or delivery establishment. We've tried many of the dishes, and you can't go wrong. The momos (vegetable or chicken dumplings) are awesome, and I love the garlic naan. Good-sized portions. If two of us order two main dishes and an order of momos, we usually have enough leftovers for at least one meal.
Was craving a bottle of orange wine after work one day. I didn’t just find a bottle at Barbrix, but I was able to get it chilled! And I enjoyed a couple of glasses outside in their beautiful patio. Excellent service and ambiance.
At 10pm this place was packed! Standing only, but we only had to wait a minute and a place at the bar opened up. The bar tender come over immediately and asked what our tastes were. He picked out the most delicious pinot noir for me, I loved it!
It's located inside a strip mall close to USC. This place is perfect for elote lovers (like me). I love the hot Cheetos street corn and the red dog. The portions are really filling and everything's really flavorful.
This is my local go-to wine shop if I need a bottle for a Tuesday night dinner or I need to impress my friends. The prices are so reasonable and every time I shop here I find something new! I love the wine buyer Sharon. She will not steer you wrong. This place is a gem.
Great wine shop. Tons on interesting, off the beaten path wines. The wine manager, Sharon, is very knowledgeable and has a great palate. All the wines were selected by her and the staff. Fair prices and only $10 corkage if you take it to your table. A great neighborhood gem.
