The queso and baby corn will be memorable for quite some time! Iâm going to start growing baby corn in my gardens just so I can recreate this dish at home. I highly recommend. Service staff were all amazing too. I wished I lived in LA so this could be my regular spot.
Epic flavor
the food is just so much better than you could imagine. there's no way to prepare for how delicious and unique the flavors are. it's 10 levels higher than what you think the best of this genre could possibly be.
Both my friend and I have enjoyed several meals at Bar Ama in the past, but it had been several years since each of us had last been. Last night was such a lovely dinner. Service was excellent--everyone from the host to the servers was so genuinely gracious and friendly. And the food was delicious! It was so nice to be back.

I remember Bar AMA from pre Covid era as an awesome contemporary Mexicain restaurant with surprising dishes and cocktails; yesterday was none of it. Cocktail ok, no wine list to speak off and food that was bla⦠disappointed.
Menu changesâ- I used to love this restaurant. The last time I visited was the weekend before the first Covid shutdown in 2020. The puffy tacos this time around werenât the same. It was just a fried taco shell. Thereâs more vegetarian dishes than I recalled. There used to be bus drivers wings and short rib tostados. Gone. So Iâm in no rush to go back as I missed the old bar ama
Great food, wonderful margaritas, incredible place! Best nachos and you gotta try the churros.
