Service is so bad- just had lunch here with my son at Bao Beverly - the chef even forgot my order

Came here for my daughter’s graduation lunch. Everything about their customer service is great. They were accommodating with our size reservation. We actually we advised to email them a list of what we wanted to order. Super great move. When we arrived… our orders just started coming out. We also had one of the rooms off to the side. We had 4 smaller children in our group, so that was super helpful with keeping them from bothering other people. The food isn’t top notch… but is pretty good. I’d come back if I were in the area and preferred not to wait for a table or not wait too long vs waiting a upwards of 45 mins elsewhere. Like I said… food is good… not quite taste explosion though.

An absolutely wonderful dim sum expletive good enough to share. Exceptional quality and speedy service in a lo-fi, trendy space. Fried rice to die for.

Definitely NOT high-quality/authentic dim sum food! Craving dim sum? Get your cravings satisfied elsewhere at an authentic dim sum place, that does not charge to the extent that this restaurant does!Pretty disappointed by the collection of the 8 juicy soup dumplings, which were very bland, and lacking in soup (had no soup inside it, for the fact of matter) and the texture of the dumpling wrapper was super dry.. :/ All soup dumplings were bland, and tasted similar to the frozen soup dumplings you can purchase at Costco/Trader-Joe's. Disappointing :(We also ordered other dishes including the:- Egg yolk bao- Green beans- Shrimp dumplingsAll were an 'okay', but the soup dumplings were definitely a big disappointment.

We came here around noon, 5 minutes after they open, I love dim sum here, they are just huge and juicy! The place was a bit dark, I’d prefer to sit near the window but those tables were occupied! The waitress who served our table were nice and friendly! Nothing to complain about!

This place is just what you're looking for when you want that authentic Dim Sum experience. The plates kept on flying in! My party and I ordered plenty off the menu and the wait for our first couple of dishes didn't take long at all. I recommend the pork and Korean BBQ soup dumplings. I could've easily eaten 20 of those. I had the Watermelon Cooler that had Tajín on the rim and it was delicious and refreshing (vodka based) thank you!

My friend and I shared a large bowl of sizzling rice soup; he then had dumplings and I had scallion pancakes -- both of us were quite satisfied. A perfectly good meal even if not absolutely superb.

Expect to be asked for proof of vaccination as well as identification. The service is quite good. The food is even better. Generous portions, but I spent $25 fried rice and vegetable spring rolls with an iced tea for lunch. The menus are on scannable QR codes at the table. Kind of cool.

very dirty dumplings.....I found inside dumplings cockroach ?

My first time trying dim sum and this place did not disappoint! food is super flavorful and soooo good. Definitely would recommend. The chow fun noodles are so good and the scallion pancake is to die for. But I rate this 4 stars because the staff isn't very friendly and they don't take the time to check up on how your doing/ lack of personality.
