So good! I got the Mercado la Paloma Burrito and it was nothing short of amazingly delicious :))The jackfruit got me because I genuinely thought I was eating meat for a second. I paused mid-bite to double check, haha. The flavors are so dam tasty and a surprise. I'm honestly not a fan of Ethiopian food, but after this, I'm opening up my pallet to different versions of Ethiopian food. I would def come back again or order online for delivery.Great service, wait-time, and food!--------------------------------------------March 19, 20224/5 starsCame back to celebrate me getting a lil job or w.e, heehe and I tried their burritos again.Ethiopian food with the fusion of Mexican food is absolutely genius and I really prefer my Ethiopian food like this!I got the Talem and Playboy Cha Cha Burrito. The Talem took the cake for me! Delicious! It gave everything it was supposed to and I really enjoyed this one! The soy chikina and turmeric slaw was the best part! I usually hate coleslaw, but I ate it up in this burrito. I couldn't really taste the guacamole, but everything else hit the spot.I had a feeling the Playboy Cha Cha wouldn't be my favorite and I was right. Mushroom is good, but shredded mushroom is too much for me and I really only eat the corn. Not my favorite, but that's okay.I'll definitely be back again to continue trying their other burritos. They're appetizing af and I love the food and service here!

NEW MENU as of 2/12/22 and let me be the first to tell you how DELICIOUS it is!!! They’ve taken Azla nom noms to the next level! All the Ethiopian yumminess we’ve come to know (with lots of new flavors too) with some perfect tortillas. You can order tacos or burritos (plus tortilla-less bowls!). We tried every taco (there are 6) and I can’t wait to have them all again! Favoritos were the Soy Africano (spicy soy), dembiya (jackfruit) and El Saturn (mushrooms). We also tried the horchata, sorrel and lemonade and they were refreshing and good for the soul!Beyond the food and drinks, there’s just this vibe about Azla that you wanna feel again and again. They had beautiful flowers for sale. The music is dope. The folks that work there are sooo warm and sweet.AND, the best part of this whole Ethiopian/Mexican fusion food is that there’s HISTORY there. The good folks at Azla have taken the time to dig up archival documentation of when when Emperor Haile Selassie became the first African head of state to pay an official visit to Mexico in 1954. When Italy invaded Ethiopia in the 30’s, Mexico was one of few countries to condemn the occupation and as a result, Ethiopia was able to keep its seat in the League of Nations. Since then, the nations pay homage to each other by naming train stations and plazas after each other.Isn’t that the best??So that’s it. If you want incredible food, a wonderful vibe and you enjoy becoming smarter, you MUST check out Azla and their new menu. You will be a better human because of it!

Amazing food and amazing customer service. I’m excited to have vegan breakfast options to go to in my area.

I love Ethiopian food, but this was not good. The food was cold, the cabbage was raw, they were stingy with the bread and they forgot my brownie. They definitely didn't deserve my business let alone my tip. I'll continue to give business to another Ethiopian restaurant in the area.

Love this place. My husband and I get the "feast for one" pretty regularly, which is a sampling of all 5 main dishes (and a taste of each of the salads) and it's enough food for two meals for both of us (so 4 meals total). It's great that it's completely vegan, and every dish is flavorful and tasty. Sometimes the cabbage one is almost all potatoes and not much cabbage, but it's tasty either way. One thing to keep in mind, the feast for one comes with only a small amount of injera in comparison to the amount of food, so we usually go to an Ethiopian market to buy a pack of injera. You could also order more injera with it if you don't want to make another trip (and the injera at Azla is super tasty with a perfect texture and slight sourness). We will keep coming back here for sure!

I had the best Spicy Carnitas burrito today. Soooo fresh and delicious!!

so flavorful and healthful!! great spot for a hearty meal

Although the food is good, I was very upset at how much injera they gave. The food portions are great, but they should definitely give at least half a slice of injera when purchasing a $17 - $25 meal.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! I ordered from Ubereats. Everything was hot, beautifully packaged and beyond delicious! Can't wait to go back.

❤️A favorite fer sure. Would eat there every day if I could
