A low-key, no nonsense shop serving up some of the best curry I've had in my life. So good that I ate here twice before leaving LA. Do yourself a favor and pick up their Karaage & Curry with a 5 piece to go. You won't regret it.
I love this place. The food is amazing, the service is quick and the quality is always good. Also they make great leftovers for the rest of the week so I always make sure to order extra. The chicken always stays so tender even days later.
Best burger in town so far! This is not fast food, food is made to order, so expect to wait ~15min for your order. Amazing karaage (Japanese fried chicken) and burgers are consistently superb!

Tasty fried chicken better known as karaage in Japanese. The crust is very flavorful with seasoning. I like the karaage burger best with the jalapeño ranch aioli. Fries are seasoned. What is really great is that there is ample parking in the lot next door, which is really key in the Sawtelle neighborhood.
Extremely juicy and tender chicken interior. Light layer of batter exterior. Wish I had eaten it right away instead of takeout as it wasn't super crispy. They also threw in an extra piece for me even though I only ordered 5 pieces.Overall good price value and excellent food. Probably best karaage on Sawtelle. Would recommend.

Great place for a quick bite. Karaage chicken is very good and fresh. Would recommend eating right away at their outside standing tables for the best flavor.
Best chicken karaage I've had. Crispy on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside. I recommend squeezing lemon on it and dipping it in their sriracha aioli.
The fried chicken is simple yet so juicy, crispy, and flavorful. Anzu has one specialty and it’s so good you won’t need or want anything else. I recommend the sriracha aioli as a dipping sauce. If you love karaage you do not want to pass this place by.
