Came all the way from Victorville to visit a childhood destination. The quality of the food has not lowered one bit over the years. The food was so fresh it was burning our mouths. The flavor of the food was unmatched. Its a family owned business that has kept it true, through and through. I would definitely recommend this place to others.
best bean and cheese burrito I've ever had, My Wife and Kids loved the place. I highly recommend the chili relleno burrito and the green chili cheese fries.
I've been coming here since high school which was in the early 90s. Food has always been good, then and now. I'd recommend getting the combination burrito, its the best.My daughter really likes the bean and cheese burrito with red sauce, I would get it if youre craving spicy. If youre in LA, go to Al & Bea's for the best bean and cheese burritos.

I tried the Al &Bea's Special burrito and it was delicious. It is a nice hefty size burrito that will fill any appetite. The guacamole and green chili pairs up nicely in the burrito with the shredded beef, beans cheese, rice, and lettuce complete the ingredients. I would recommend this place to all, definitely returning to try the taco plate. Enjoy!
Al and Bea's is a little hidden gem in Boyle Heights. I grew up with this place and 30 years later I keep coming back for more. I don't live in the area but I make it a point to stop by when I am. All the food is delicious. They sell Mexican food and it's not your ordinary Mexican food. They use shredded beef for their famous combination burrito which if you take a bite you would know why I keep going back.
Always a classic must have. Food history. Burritos are a little smaller than before. But still good.

Been eating here for 30 years. The food quality and size of burritos has decreased while the prices have increased. Six dollars for a small basic bean & cheese burrito. It took an hour to get my order. Only waited because it was for a sick family member. Definitely no longer worth eating here.
