Great food. Most seating is outdoors, which is not particularly desirable on hot evenings. Changes chefs every four months.

We wanted a quick bite before the the theater, the waiter advised which entrees would require a longer preparation time. The food we ordered came out very quick and was delicious.

We ate dinner before a show at the Ahmanson. Everything about the experience was lovely except for the large fence around the center of the plaza for some kind of special event. One of the benefits of eating on the plaza is to enjoy the view of the different theaters, the fountain, and people watching. Instead we were next to a blacked out chain link fence. Other than that it was a delicious meal and excellent service. With rotating chefs, I would definitely return to try out the different regional cuisine as they change. Our evening of Sardinian dishes was absolutely lovely and surprising as we tried new flavor combinations.

Excellent choice! Hit all points drink, food, and service.

We arrived a bit earlier than our 5:30 pm reservation, around 4:50 pm and the hostess rudely told us that they weren't open for another 10 minutes. We understood and had no, so we grabbed a seat on a bench nearby to wait the 10 minutes. But exactly 4 minutes later and still not 5:00 other groups walked up formed a line and were immediately seated. (A nearby show had just ended) That rubbed me wrong because she never waved over to us so that we could be seated, even though we were the first to arrive and she knew we were waiting. The food was pretty good, menu felt limited in options. The cocktail selection I didn't care for and actually had to send by choice back to order something different. An overall good place to stop if you are in the area or for food after a show, but I wouldn't make a special trip there unless there was a specific featured Chef that I knew. The food service was great, with exception of the Hostess.

Not really knowing what to expect, we went with open minds and experienced really delicious food and drink. Everything was beyond delicious. The Tuna Escabeche Toast, the Sardinian Tempura, the Ricotta Cake topped with Prosciutto and the Chocolate Semifreddo were all beyond good! I'm only sorry that the chef only has a few more days. The restaurant is designed to rotate chefs every 3 months so we can't wait to see what the Filipino cuisine will be.

It's overpriced, the service was poor, and the food isn't very good. We were attending a 6:30 show at the Ahmanson. We had a reservation at 5:15, and we showed up at about 5:17. Our waiter helpfully told us which entree would take too long, so that we didn't order that one. He said ordering anything else would allow us to make our show time. We ordered at around 5:25, but we didn't actually get our food until between 6:05 and 6:15, so we were pretty rushed. The bill was about $150 for four people (with no drinks), and none of us liked our food.

Pre show dinner for the Ahmanson. Staff was well aware of the time and food was delivered on time, hot, and well presented.

Service good..got out in time for theater. Food is only fair...we ordered 4 dishes and one was outstanding (flatbread and cheese) The clams and oyster dish was stingy with both clams and oysters in a big bowl filled with cous co. The batter fell off the tempura as the oil was not hot enough. I would only recommend if you are going to the theater and you are tired of eating at Kendell's. Very limited menu.

The food is expensive and not very good. The location, however, is fabulous if you are seeing a show. What kind of restaurant doesn’t offer vegetables as a side? Maybe best for a drink.
