I truly adore Viento Y Agua. The bagels are delicious. There are vegan pastry options. The coffee is good. It's my favorite local spot.My only qualm is that the wait time for the coffee and food can be pretty long. I would not suggest coming here if you're in a hurry anywhere...especially on the weekends. I'd also like if they were more generous with the cream cheese on the bagels.BUT in the end, Viento is a local gem and I will continue to support this wonderful business for all my study and hangout needs.

It is rare for me to leave a review. The reason I am is because I love this place. The owner is so friendly and I'm all about supporting local businesses. However, lately there has been an issue with service. I can deal with 20 minutes to get an order but today was just under an hour. For real. And 2 weeks ago it was about the same wait. Both times were on a weekend so maybe that's the issue. I WILL continue to come back and see if this issue has been resolved. Thank you for your kindness

Coffee is excellent.Service is weak.Speed is super slow.Bummer, this place has amazing potential and can really do better if they become more efficient. Until then, I give 3 stars.

Great local spot with plenty of indoor space and some outdoor seating. There's a piano, an acoustic guitar and some books. It's quiet and the baristas always friendly. Food items tend to run out quick so get there early.

This place is the best! Such a vibrant space that is a staple in the community. Great coffee, great food, and awesome friendly staff. This is sooo worth driving out of your way to go and experience. Give yourself time when you do visit to sit back and absorb the vibe and chill out. You'll love it.

Definitely more of a second wave coffee shop vibe. I ordered a black coffee and it was really good. I would be interested to see how their lattes are. Offer lots of flavors, blended drinks, etc.

Such a cool cafe!! Hubby & I went while on vacation & thought it was awesome. We had coffee and pastries & sat on the couch while checking everything out. It's very laid back, with a hippie vibe, decorated with a lot of Day of the Dead decor, sugar skulls & skeletons. The owner was singing as he brought an order to 1 of his regulars. It was cute. Will definitely go back if ever in Long Beach again!

What a vibe! Food and drinks bursting with flavor! Service top notch!

I usually love this place, but today… I ordered a coffee and a bagel and it took over 20 mins with only two guests in front of me. Then finally when I see my bagel being made, he barely put any cream cheese like he scraped it like butter you can still see the bread under the layer. I was waiting for so long at this point I wasn’t going to not say anything and asked if he could add more. He said because I had ordered vegan cream cheese he has to charge me extra because it’s so expensive. I didn’t pay extra and he let it go by saying this will have to happen next time. If you know you’re going to jip the customers who order vegan cream cheese then put a disclaimer on the menu. I was so aggravated, I’m already waiting 20+ mins for a bagel with half the cream cheese… I don’t know, the place seems understaffed and stressed out, not as peaceful as it once was. I really do like this place and I hope to have a better experience if I come back!

Terrible place. Coffee is horrible. Owner's not even mexican. I don't who he's trying to fool but this place is disgraceful.
