Hello, Just checked into this hotel for a 6-night stay on a work trip, and the WIFI speeds are 2 MB or less. I spent 30 mins on a TECH call with their Indian team, and they could not do anything. The room's ethernet is also disconnected. Have an employee on another floor with the same speeds and issues. If you are needing WIFI avoid this hotel.

Here for a conference, and I picked the Westin as it is part of the Bonvoy group (let’s get some points while we are here) and I like to be able to walk outdoors a little after being cooped up in a convention center all day. The is a great location if you are attending an event — a beautiful 5 minute walk across a plaza with fountains and a pedestrian bridge filled with rose & flower plantings. The Westin is a lovely elegant hotel. Big spacious lobby, nice sized rooms, very comfortable. The decor is a little dated, but well maintained and very clean. My bathroom was fairly spacious and well lit (I’ve noticed newer hotels seem to have smaller bathrooms), and the hot water was plentiful, actually hot, and great pressure in the shower. Comfortable bed, good AC. Food and beverage offerings in the lobby are fine, average hotel slightly pricy for the convenience. A little surprised the bar closed up at 10 PM — us east coasters were ready to stay a bit longer. But the absolute best reason to pick this hotel is the friendliness and professionalism of the staff, noted in several other reviews. Everyone was smiling, welcoming, pleasant, and quietly efficient. And an extra big thank you to the concierge desk - helping with everything from simple directions and restaurant recommandations to arranging a cab for a 3:30 AM pickup to get to LAX for a crazy early flight.

I have been here on business occasions and have always been greeted with friendly smiles. Your hotel staff are conscientious and attentive. Being a Platinum member and as a repeat customer here, I have been warmly welcomed. Your team member, Jesse, has remembered my name (it’s a difficult name to pronounce) and has thanked me personally by name. I would like for you to recognize him as he reflects and represents your brand name well. Thank you Jesse, for being so patient with my group as we check in the front desk!

I’ve had an amazing experience! The staff is great! They went out of their way for us! And I would like to give a special thank you to Osmin at the concierge desk, he’s very sincere, helpful, and caring! And the hotel is absolutely stunning and clean! I can’t wait to come back and stay here, and other Westin locations!

We recently concluded a stay at the Westin. A spectacular entry greats the customer. The staff was friendly and helpful. A couple of items really stood out. First we planned to order room service but were told they charge five dollars to deliver your items to your room. That's ludicrous. I've never been told that before. Two, the in-room internet is was unusable for a couple of days. I asked o have my room modem rese a couple of times, but no improvement. I asked the front desk why the performance is so poor and they replied 'it's because the hotel is full'. Get more bandwidth. For a business traveler that is unacceptable. I had to use my mobile as a hotspot. And last, hey didn't clean the room after we made the request.

Very professional and helpful staff during breakfast time. It is always a pleasure to come back to this hotel. I always have an excellent breakfast due to the great staff service and its variety of choices. Excellent service by Benito Juárez and his colleges. See you soon!

What a Hotel. Truly a classy place. If it was possible to give more stars this could be it. When it comes to taking care of your guests. This is it. From the front desk to the hotel staff. Impeccable service. Do you wanna have exceptional service ask for \\\"Andy\\\". He's why we enjoyed our stay here. Doing the small things. Overall the staff is some of the best I've seen and had the true pleasure of meeting. For the breakfast buffet. Absolutely yum. Great variety of foods, juices and fresh fruit. Oatmeal is yum. Add your to it and enjoy. Pastries are good. Double Chocolate muffins are the best. They also have a coffee shop in the lobby of this hotel. Especially good in the morning or a afternoon smoothie. If you're visiting Long Beach this is it. Close enough to everything. A huge shout out to \\\"Andy\\\" for making it wonderful. Can't wait to go back.

The stay was a disaster from check in. I was staying here on a business trip and was supposed to be rooming with someone. I got there and checked in first. I waited for my roomie all night only to be told she was accidentally given an additional room, which was fine by me at the time. After being out working all day, I come back to a completely empty room!! They removed ALL of my belongings, yet my key still worked, which was odd. I never received a phone call or ANY correspondence regarding this so imagine leaving a room completely nested and coming back to everything being GONE. I was told housekeeping removed my things (which is NEVER supposed to happen without proper communication). They located my belongings and after doing a survey of my things, I was missing SEVERAL of my travel items, including toothpaste, and a dozen roses I received the night before. At first Monica Espinosa, the front office manager, made me feel as if this matter wasn’t a big deal because after respectfully stating what happened, there was no sense of urgency. After finding out that I had several items missing, I returned to the desk to report it and had to literally ASK for at least a drink voucher! I needed a libation after that shock. She later gave myself and the ladies I was with breakfast vouchers but ultimately, the resolution was a comped night, which went to the company I was working for so I got NOTHING and my things are still missing.

Beautiful, upscale hotel across the street from the Convention Center and within walking distance of lots of restaurants and shops. The hotel bar and restaurant had a complete menu and everything I had was delicious. The room was clean and well-appointed with updated furnishings and lots of electrical and USB outlets. The staff was friendly, especially the concierge staff (Osmin was particularly helpful!)

Stayed here four nights - checked in on 6/28 and checked out on 7/2. Restaurants nearby, hotel bar/restaurant is okay, and overall good amenities. The first few nights I woke up in the middle of the night because the air conditioner didn't work. I had early morning meetings the first few days so forgot to report it. On the third day, I reported it and the maintenance person showed up promptly to correct the problem. He tried but after a few tries, the verdict was this cannot be fixed in a few hours. They moved me to another room so I had to pack and drag all my stuff to my new room. I went downstairs and told the manager that if they gave me some credit for the trouble, that would be nice but if they don't then I won't fight it. He said he will look into this matter and then get back to me. Did not hear from anyone! P.S. I was in Room 1222 from 6/28 to 7/1 and then moved to Room 1232. The hotel can easily find out who the manager on duty was on 7/1. The hotel also has my email on file and can easily contact me.
