Had breakfast with my son after running a half in Long Beach. We wanted some good post run eats but nothing heavy or regretful. Googled breakfast spots and came across Small Cafe. The wait was less than 10 mins, the staff was super friendly and very accommodating and the place was packed! The tables were covered with white paper so you can doodle with crayons while you sit and wait.Their menu options are enough to satisfy the pickiest of eaters as they pretty much have something for everyone.I had the Farmers omelet (veggie omelet) with ground beef and avocados and it was delish! Very hearty but light. My son had the Spud which has hash browns mixed with meat, egg, and some veggies. Both dishes were nicely portioned. I was only able to eat half.We were both pretty happy with our meals. I'll definitely return. Small Cafe does big thangs! Check them out if you're ever in Naples of the LBC. ?⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐???

It was our first time at this cafe. The cafe was under staffed today and full of people. But we decided to wait anyway. Understandably we knew that it was a going to be a while. We waited about 40min until we got a table for 2. We were of course greeted and right away ordered our drinks. We patiently waited and eventually had our food ordered and just took in the ambience and vibe. I could see the servers were very attentive to other costumers and the hostess was pitching in cleaning and setting tables. I could see the team effort. Our table had a little basket with creamers and sugars and Crayons! The "table cloth" was actually a large white piece of paper, so I took the opportunity to doodle while we waited for our food. Eventually we got our food, and it looked great. The portions were large and perfect, and the taste was even better. It made the waiting worth it. I'll definitely come back.

We were staying in the area (near the yacht club) and this was a wonderful find for breakfast, Previously we had been going along to the crowded (and un-appertising) areas of downtown 2nd Street. Recommended by locals, The Small Cafe met all of our expectations, with delightful food, good service with a smile and suitable vegetarian options. Eat inside or out. Will return next year !

I was welcomed very warmly when I entered this establishment and the staff was very polite and attentive. I ordered a latte with almond milk and it was pretty good. The farmers omelet I ordered was amazing, but the hash browns were kind of dry and really bland. I would give a five star but everything was only okay and the cleanliness wasn't what I expect when eating out. If I'm in the area there is a good chance I would try this place again.

We were so disappointed to see that there is no adherence to the local mask policy. The only staff member wearing a mask was a woman in the kitchen. Follow the rules - like we all have to do. Keep your staff and customers safe.We have been coming for years - but will hold off for a while

Mostly want to keep this place secret. It is the coolest little cafe in Long Beach. Wonderful service and really good food. Fun location. I often get a breakfast that is plated so perfectly it makes me exclaim. The food is high quality and delicious and the value is great. Please don't tell anyone...sshh.

Delish fresh food and excellent

Been coming here for mid ride Pit Stops on lomg bike rides through and to Long Beach for some time. The new expanded patio is great and the service is ALWAYS EXCEPTIONAL!!

Wonderful breakfast spot in downtown Seal Beach ... grab the heuvos rancherous with verde sauce ... amazing ... then stoll to the pier and enjoy the views and ocean air

This place is awesome!! Super cute and locally owned. They go out of their way to help you. The owner is walking around and making sure the food and place is good. Super dog friendly and family friendly. The food was just fine as well.
