A wonderful place to visit and free (except for paid parking) to wander around her decks, take in her history, views, bars, restaurants and souvenir shops. Queen Mary also being a floating hotel offers you the chance to stay in one of their many 1930s style art deco rooms along with a variety of paid guided tours to view the entire ship and learn it's history including its "alleged" haunted history tours.
If you love history and don't mind walking, this is definitely the place for you lol!It's The Queen Mary! It has so much history, has seen so much. Plus, the sunset views from the deck are astonishing.
My wife and I stayed at the Queen Mary for our honeymoon in 2017 and it was the best hotel stay we've yet had. They upgraded our room for free, delivered us champagne and chocolate Strawberries as a wedding present, and gave us a free ghost tour on our last day. The ship itself is a fun little museum experience and getting to have coffee on the deck is something you don't want to miss. I'm sad to hear about all the recent issues the ship has had, I really recommend seeing it while you still can.

Haven't been inside the queen Mary but the area around it is just as fun. There's a small park there and the Waterview is very nice and relaxing. Come see the queen Mary and maybe have a picnic here. Had a great time

We just have to give 5 stars, being my sweet hubby and I were married on the Queen Mary in 1976. We'll be in CA in July and are praying it will be open to show our children and grandchildren where we began our journey. Though we live far away now, and elderly, we feel a strong need to visit at this time in our lives. We shall have to wait and see.
The hotel and tours are closed due to COVID. But an impressive site to stop by briefly. The parking is free for less than 30 minutes. That being said when I went there the exit toll was disabled and open so even if I stayed longer I wouldn't have to pay.
A truly memorable stay and a cherished memory. Steak restaurant was one of the best ever. Can't wait for it's return....some of the finest art deco on the planet and a real nostalgic feeling of times gone by.
