Great spot for breakfast or lunch. All outside dining, fast servers who are very helpful and friendly, delicious comfort food menu with just the right amount of options. We ate there twice on visiting the Long Beach area. Loved it both times. Be prepared for a possible short wait since it’s quite popular, especially on weekends.
Prepare to wait (for a table and your food), but the food is worth it. This place is a great Saturday or Sunday breakfast spot (or any day of the week if you can swing it). It’s not fancy place, but they are well staffed and the service is solid.We ordered a mix of yummy stuff - the fried zucchini, a biscuit, a side of Turkey sausage, the vegetarian scramble, and an order of French toast. All were delicious.
Every time we go to California, we make at least one stop here. Its great every single time. Highly recommended.

Excellent place. It’s my first time in Long Beach and I wanted to find a great food spot, but that also looks cute, in a nice place. The emplacement is ideal, the surroundings are beautiful, there is some good wind. The place Is very comfortable and the food is excellent. A real ten!

We ate breakfast here three days in succession. The food is amazing. The portions are huge. Be hungry!!!
Came here with a big group of 16 people. It took them about 35 minutes to seat us, which they prepared very well. While we were waiting, we asked for coffee and they promptly gave it to us with cream and sugar.Food was pretty good and hit the spot for most of us. A lot of us got the french toast, waffles, or burrito specials. The burritos were loaded. The waffles has a special scent to it (I think cinnamon) which made it stand out from the usual fare. The french toast was yummy especially with blackberries. not sure if that is standard or they added it for me. I didn't request it but I did say I wish their was fruit on it. Others that got french toast, and had ordered a side of fruits, had the mixed melons in their plate, which is why I don't know if they heard me wrong and added blackberries (no xtra charge on my bill), but it was greatly appreciated.
