We stopped at the drive through for a "quick coffee" and waited over 45 minutes in the drive through even though we were only the third car in line, and didn't even receive the correct drinks. Why even have a drive through if your infrastructure can't handle one? Terrible experience at this location.
I used the drive thru, the workers are enthusiastic, kind, & helpful. I am from GA & haven't tried the coffee shop before, I got the turkey pesto sandwich & iced cookie butter latte. 12/10 would recommend!
I read some reviews that has a nice ice cream and i wanted to try it as a fan of the ice cream. I tried the sandwich ice cream, a scoop of ice cream, one oreo cookie and a cake soaked in milk. All of them were good, but nothing special and as a traveller it doesn't worth to go there for ice cream. I can say that the cake in the milk was the best of all.
Clean and friendly.Lots of tables and outdoor patio to study and talk with friends.They also have EV charging in the parking lot and drive thru!Great location!
I love Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf! I have been a dedicated customer since they opened in Westwood and was thrilled when they came toLong Beach. All of their coffee drinks are made exactly the way you want and you will get the same great cup no matter which one you go to. The baristas are friendly and well trained. The bonus now is they keep adding scrumptious treats to have along with your cup of choice.
LOVE!!!!! The folks that make this place run! Came here on a very busy Sunday for the 1st time. The barista was kind enough to make me a sample of the iced matcha since I'd never had one before. It was delicious yet not dairy free. After very informative conversation about the ingredients in matcha, I ordered my regular iced chai.As a person who regulars spots for customer service and atmosphere this experience blew me away.Great little but actually very big location. Lots of seats, umbrellas and sun.
Even with the long drive through, the speedy service and incredible hospitality will bring you back over and over again.
I only order one of two drinks from any Coffee Bean — Ginseng Peppermint Lattes or Genmacha Lattes. This location never has either. One time I was told those are seasonal drinks. They are not. Another time they put a chair in the driveway 30 mins before closing and wouldn’t allow anyone else to order. I drove up and saw them place the chair and then walk back into the shop. I drove up today and the speaker to order was not working (I guess) because no one was responding. I drove up to the window to see four people doing various things. No one ever came to the window until I honked. I had to stop coming to this location.
I'm close to a very busy location, that does a fine job. Fast and friendly.
I am very disappointed in my experience. Whoever closed tonight (12/28/21) closed 15 minutes earlier than 10 pm. I waited at the drive thru screen to take my order for 5 minutes, I drove to the window thinking maybe it was a mistake. But they avoided the window as they continued to close. I even tried calling. This was flat out terrible service. There were others behind me waiting to spend money on this business. I just can’t believe that coffee bean would offer such bad service. Starbucks would never.
