Such a fantastic breakfast. We were here on a Sunday but made it early enough to avoid the long line that formed pretty quickly. I had the Eggs Papi with ham and a coffee with Kahlua. The meal came with a potato pancake - delicious! One of the tastiest breakfasts I've had dining out. The friends I was with loved their meals as well and said the turkey sausage was really good. Nice outdoor dining area. Excellent service, as well. We made sure not to linger after finishing our food - the line was very long and even hours later when we walked by there was still a line. Must be a popular place, and I understand why. Phenomenal food, friendly service.

On our way to the USS Iowa battleship museum we stopped off here for brunch after local recommendation. Very glad we did as they have an extensive selection of breakfast and brunch options clon their menu which are all reasonably priced.

We had breakfast at the breakfast bar two days in a row. Highly recommended. Excellent breakfast burritos and rosemary bread breakfast sandwich. Very friendly and efficient waite staff. Outdoor dining.

Great food and even better service!! Worth the wait on a sunny Saturday morning for breakfast. The wait staff work very hard keeping the food and coffee coming. They definitely deserve big tips. The food. Oh my goodness it is yummy. Nothing super fancy just great food large portions and well prepared. Make sure at least one person gets the lemon pancakes!

This place was busy but I was seated immediately at the bar. Plenty of seating inside and out to accommodate huge numbers. Food came out quick. Staff was friendly. I ordered their famous lemon cake batter pancakes. The were tasty, the icing was good. However, if you are expecting pancake texture, you won't get that. It's like cake, it crumbles. Plenty of other good things on the menu and I'd probably try something else when I return. I enjoyed my visit.

First time I went there to try their breakfast simple as a waffle right, but unfortunately my experience was not as good as expected. our food delay I saw others got their food before me and my husband when we got there before them. My husband said his food was good. My waffle was not cook from the inside. Waitress got me a new one right away, but the second time it was really plain. The staff from the hostess to our waitress they sure where friendly.

Brilliant all-American breakfast, just what we wanted, and introduced to us by our taxi driver as his favourite place to eat in Long Beach. He was not wrong!!!!

Took my family for a nice Sunday breakfast and was pleasantly surprised by the food quality and customer service. An ok recommend to anyone who is in downtown Long Beach. Burrito is a bit dry but it is a nice outdoor food experience

Delicious breakfast. My one complaint is they need to serve sharper knives with the benedicts because I couldn’t really cut the sour dough toast. The potato pancake was very tasty. The Bloody Mary was watery; not sure what type of tomato juice they used, but I prefer a thicker Bloody Mary. Maybe this had a lot of vodka in it, which guess most people would prefer?

I had higher expectations for a place called “the Breakfast Bar”. The first time I ordered the “Breakie Sandwich” with sausage. It tasted like kielbasa and was way too much to eat the whole sandwich. If I didn’t add meat it might have been doable, but this is a very heavy sandwich. The second time I ordered the “Fried Corn Flake Chicken Sandwich”: Fried chicken breast battered in Corn Flakes cereal with Jack cheese, tomato and apple slaw, or lettuce, pickles, tomato and mayo. For $17.00 I was expecting to be blown away but I just wasn’t.The Bloody Marys were delicious. Both times I ordered the “Queen Mary”: Kettle One Vodka, House bloody Mary Mix, Homemade Pickles, & Pickled green beans, Beef jerky, and double Bacon ($16.50).I’d only go back here for the bloodys even though they were pretty expensive.
