Sunday Brunch at The Attic was long awaited. LOL. It took us 10 years to come here. We have passed by many times but always a wait so we, being so impatient, never made it here until now! Oh my, sad we waited so long for our visit, but glad we finally made it.There is something about a restaurant in a 1920's Craftsman bungalow that makes me smile. There is seating both inside and out. We were seated in the side area of the house and love it. It is super cozy. (Beware the steps when you are getting seated)We were lucky and did not really have to wait too long for our seats. They do want the entire party there prior to seating though.Parking can be a pain but The Attic is worth the pain.We shared:Arugula salad - with parmesan and vinaigretteUp Country Benedict - crispy anson mills grits cake and smoke pork croquette with shrimp. Hollandaise, mustard seed, perfectly poached eggs. served with market lettuces.Doughnut Beignets - there are 3. served with seasonal jam. Don't forget the coffee!Service was super friendly by Erick. Food came out fast too. And the food was still nice and hot. That is what we totally expected from an awesome restaurant. For sure we will be coming back for more. Need to try some of the other dishes.

Service was great, although food was just ‘ok’.A little bit overpriced in my opinion. Creative menu, although I feel there’s a reliance on hype over tangible value or quality. If you’re looking to instagram some hot Cheetos Mac n cheese then this is the place for you. If you want a good dinning experience, I’d go elsewhere.

The ambiance of this place is amazing. Love the indoor, outdoor, and indoor / outdoor seating (the bar area). The burger is great and the ribs looked amazing too. Don’t recommend Mac n cheese though!

Best Gumbo I've had in SoCal. 2nd pic in bowl. Chicken under a brick was outstanding, albiet pricy at $32. 1st pic is chicken under a brick, sans brick. Corn bread in small iron skillet was nicely soaked with honey butter. Finished with the biegnets; warm and heavily dusted with powdered sugar and served with jam. Will return soon for happy hour.

Great customer service, very friendly workers. The Bloody Mary was delicious and fancy... Food was bomb. Dog friendly outside seating. The restrooms are clean.I will definitely return!

First time here and it was alright. The servers were nice and friendly, I have no complaints about the staff. The macaroni with hot Cheetos and fried chicken was really good, the gumbo was okay, the drinks were alright, the prices are high (one piece of fried chicken $8). I had high hopes for the corn bread because of the picture on their website… it did not look, taste, or feel like corn bread. It was burnt and tasted like a dry coffee cake without the soft crumbs on top. Overall it was mediocre food for a high price, something much cheaper and tastier exists. Could I come here again? Possibly. Would I really want to? Not really.

Great place for brunch. Definitely busy and popular. They don't take reservations so the wait time was almost 40 minutes. Worth the wait. Food is always amazing and the tasty drinks!

Can’t wait to come back for brunch. The gumbo was great, Mac and cheetos lived up to the hype. The burger was mediocre but not terrible. Very lively place with cool crowd.

Great outdoor dining. Food was very good. I wish veggie sandwich was bigger but otherwise portions were great. Good for groups. Many families with children. Service was very friendly but slow at times, probably bc there were so many people. We were told wait would be an hour but we got lucky and were seated within twenty min. Typical so cal brunch prices. We spent about $35/person after taxes and tip. I read they don't take reservations on weekends.

Came here a few weeks ago, made a reservation online, got sat really quickly. The outside area was really nice, thankfully it wasn't the regular hot socal day, so it was enjoyable. The staff was really nice and welcoming! Over all the food was really good, the atmosphere was relaxing, not too busy, definitely good for brunch. They did forgot to put our bread order in but they got it to us on the house, as well as dessert, definitely a good team of servers.
