Very high quality sushi! Also ordered lemonade and chicken teriyaki. Free refills and great service. They were very friendly with our dog too and gave her some water.
I from oahu and sushi is a big thing down there & this place hands down has amazing sushi ! Can tell da ting fresh and get amazing service so if you visiting from hawaii, go here ! Da sushi so good it made kikkoman shoyu taste good.
Really friendly waiters and delicious food. There are not many tables inside, but the service is really quick.
This place is great for sushi. The staff are really nice and the food is delicious. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is also nice, but it can take a while for food to get there when it is busy.
Not the best sushi on 2nd street. I found the dynamite & dragon rolls flavorless and hollow; the dynamite roll was also falling apart and hastily topped with imitation meat. The atmosphere here feels forced, like they're trying to trick you into thinking you're at a top-tier spot. I'll give some bonus stars for the oysters, fried shishito peppers, and great service/speed - but will probably always pick different sushi options nearby in the future.
I’ve been coming for years and realized I owe this establishment a long overdue review. Last night I ordered chirashi, sashimi 9 pc, shrimp tempura, sake and garlic edamame to go. @sushi offers the freshest, most generous- sized cuts of fish. The bluefin is so good, I consider it dessert. There is a creative menu of cut roll options- we usually order 4-5 of these and share as a table for the family. The service is always amazing, matches the food. The owner goes above and beyond to make you feel appreciated and welcome. It feels like you are in his home, Japanese hospitality. Best sushi in LBC. There’s always a wait, it moves quickly but is totally worth it. Outdoor (with optional heating at each table) and indoor seating.
Bluefin toro sashimi just melted in our mouths like butter. Good market price of $42. Totally worth it. Bluefin sashimi was great also. All fresh. We personally don’t eat a lot of Bluefin due to the population decline.Service was great. I think server name started with an O. She knew her stuff. Attentive and quick. We will be back next trip to Long Beach for sure. We also had the Hawaiian roll, spicy tuna and eel roll.
Good sushi at a beach side village. The menu is a little pricey but items are fresh. We enjoyed the house salad, oysters on a half shelf paired with sea urchin and fish Roe, mixed tempura, along with some rolls. It tasted very good. There is inside and outside seating available. Service personnel are nice. Food is prepared at a quick pace compared to other spots.
Amazing and hidden gem! Some of the best sushi, hands down. The staff is super friendly, great atmosphere, beautiful food presentation, and it’s always chill and welcoming. We’ve been twice in the past week and are already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend.
So if you are looking for good sushi in the Belmont Shore community of Long Beach make sure you come here to @Sushi. The owner is usually on location and makes sure that everyone is happy & satisfied. Get there early as they get a long line waiting to eat at times. Enjoy.
