The food tast good. My favorite is the teriyaki salmon plate. You get a lot for the money. The cashiers are friendly and u bust your own table. They got 4 stars because the tables are not always wiped down for the next person.
Fast food sushi in Long Beach neighborhood. Limited selection but fresh and reasonably priced. Small seating space but did not have to wait for a table.

If your in the area and wanting some sushi (nothing fancy, inexpensive, some what quick and good) Sushi West is good.It’s a small restaurant (Casual comfy), totally clean (sanitized pens, individually wrapped utensils/chopsticks and cute little disposable soy sauce cups)We had :3 rolls: The California roll, spicy scallop and a Spider Roll.I wasn’t impressed nor was disappointed.

What a pleasant surprise! Good portions but better yet, food tasted really good! Excellent quality with good prices.
I always come here because the food is very delicious but there’s been times when the teriyaki chicken has been burned. And it’s happen several times. It’s really annoying because I usually get it to go and can’t complain to them and it’s a hassle having to drive back to the restaurant, which, I don’t have time to. Next time I will have to check the food myself but that’s why I’m giving them 2 stars and it’s sad because their food is very good.
This place use to be really good and the service was amazing. Every since the world pandemic hit the service and quality of food started going down hill. The portions are still really big like one plate can feed two. Me and my wife we share the number 13 combo. That's how big the portions are. However I noticed a difference in the taste and the freshness of the chicken. I'm still rating this place a 4 star because I'm very optimistic they will turn it around.
