Amazing food and service! Cannot say enough good things about this place. If you like Korean food you will absolutely love it here!

Pros: Extensive vegan menu, vegan panchan, variety of food that will please omnivores and vegans alike. Con: The stone bowl bibimbap had so much tofu in it that it was hard to mix and eat. I thought tofu in bibimbap would be glorious, but when I come back, I'll order it without tofu, or I'll try one of the other amazing looking items on the menu.

We ordered enough for four and loved almost everything. The cracking wings and mushroom fries came out first, we inhaled half before remembering we had a few more dishes. The short ribs were tasty and so was the yukgaejang. The seafood pancake was mushier than we preferred. We ended taking home half the meal and it was still tasty for lunch and dinner. The pancake I ended up pan frying flat a bit longer. Overall definitely recommended.

Best Korean food in Long Beach that I can find. Service can be spotty at times, but the food makes it all worthy. The Bulgogi is divine and thew banchan is serious game! Since the bao buns are not on the menu, we tried the sticky rice and were divine.

Awesome food. Had the buggogi stone pot bibimpap … best Korean food I’ve had … better than in Korea

Love love love this place! ?I’ve been coming here for years now. Try out any tofu soup, you won’t regret it!!

Vegan Korean food is not easy to come by. I was pleasantly surprised to find how GOOD their vegan dishes were. Flavor is big and bold. Portion is also healthy. Enough to share. The banchan (side dishes) is just as tasty as the main dishes. Come during their happy hour (3:00 pm - 7:00 pm), and you can score some appetizing little nibbles and drinks at even cheaper prices. They have regular Korean dishes that’s not vegan as well.

I think they are the best Asian restaurant in downtown Long Beach. They definitely stand out among the plethora of Thai and sushi spots. But that’s like comparing apples and oranges. As a Korean restaurant, their food is straight up bomb. They have a diverse menu and they can accommodate non meat eaters as well. I wish we had more restaurants like Sura’s in the downtown area. Also, they play great music!

Comfort food to spice up our soggy day. Everything was tasty and broth both vegan and beef were prepared with care.

Sura is still in the process of recovering from covid. However, the food was fantastic and the service was to notch. I will return when I am back in So-Cal.
