I was so excited to get some good soul food. But when my food arrived the potato salad was so soupy it was all over the yams and I don’t know how to describe the dressing. Corn bread was so dry. I was so disappointed, nothing like making your own soul food
I went on 4-7-2022 on my lunch break. I didn't know what to expect to tell the truth! The Greens, on point! Hot water cornbread, on point! The catfish A1! The only thing I regret was spilling hot sauce on my all white security shirt! I could have used every last drop on my fish! I was told the wait was going to be 20 mins. It was ready to go in 14 mins! And I even made it back to work in Bixby Knolls on time!! The food is like the service, A1
Been coming here for about a year now and I haven't had a bad experience yet. Catfish is great, yams, mac and cheese, red beans and rice. Rice and gravy tastes great and I am not usually a fan of rice and gravy.
The food was so delicious and very nice people.

Soul Food! Where???? This place is HORRIBLE and needs to shut down ASAP!!! From the BURNT CORNBREAD, watery MACARONI AND CHEESE and overly cooked and small amount of OXTAILS!!! It’s very distasteful how you would add beans and rice as a filler on the plate because you didn’t want to add a good amount of oxtails!! I’m highly disappointed and would not RECOMMEND!!! Save your money and go elsewhere!!! You’ve been warned!!!
It's New Year's Day and this establishment decides to charge $60 for a quart of chitterlings. No other options, like a dinner. I give it a try. Not convinced that I actually received a quart and no way to measure. Chitterlings were average at best, a little too greasy for my taste. You live and you learn and you go somewhere else on New Year's Day for chitterlings.
The food is good but the waiting time is too much 45 mins for two plates
First of all, this place would not give my order to the first driver Postmates) that showed up because supposedly he canceled my order. Postmates never cancelled my order. I had to call the restaurant several times to let them know Postmates never cancelled my order. They never even checked until I called and spoke with them. The young lady I spoke to the first of couple was very rude and her customer service skills are terrible. It wasn’t until I spoke with an older lady that I got my order delivered. She was much nicer although she still gave us old food and scraps. Then, each time I called, I kept getting put on hold for long periods of time. When my boyfriend got on the phone and asked them if they knew what a half of rack of ribs is, they act like they didn’t know what he was talking about. Then the young lady must have forgotten to put the phone on mute when she put my boyfriend on hold, and you hear a woman’s voice in the background, saying, “That’s all we had left”. So instead of us telling us that they were limited on certain items and asking us if we wanted to substitute anything, they overcharged us for some old leftover scraps.I ordered a half rack of ribs and they gave me ONE old piece rib and another piece of fat. That order was for my boyfriend and that’s what he got. That’s it. The German chocolate cake was old, they were supposed to give me 7 pieces of fish and I only got 4 and they tasted like they had been cooked in old chicken grease that had been sitting out since morning. Then the green beans tasted like they had been sitting out in some old grease. The only things that tasted fresh were the rice and the greens.
?Today I came here for chitterlings paid $60.63 first of all very small portion wouldnt have minded that but got home to eat they were terrible who puts bell peppers in chitterlings being raised with mississpi food thats a no no very disappointed I wouldnt reccomend this place to no one
