I went to ROBERT Earl BBQ and hated it, I wasted my money listening to people, I'm NOT into lying and saying food is good when it's Not ???How hard is it to make good BBQ???.Don't waste Your money ($60+) like I did, and you can't get your money back, so I'm going to tell the truth because I answer to GOD, food is horrible.
I have been looking for a BBQ spot near me that sold turkey or chicken links and this place popped up. Definitely over priced but we wanted to support a Black owned business. My husband enjoyed the beef brisket, said it was delicious. On the overhand, the food was ok and nothing for me to brag about..The main disappointment was with the exterior and interior of the restaurant ?. Sadly it was dilapidated and obviously ignored. We need to do better with our Black Owned businesses in our communities, especially if we want to attract more customer’s from different cultures and ethnic groups. On the corner, there are new businesses including a Starbucks. If Robert Earl’s invested in the appearance of their establishment, especially with that new Starbucks next door, that could possibly bring in new business but due to the appearance of the building I doubt people will patronize their business as much as the locals within the community. ?? FOR CHANGE
My goodness the food was good and plenty. I ordered a combo rib tips and brisket boy it melted in my mouth I had greens and potatoe salad for sides..
this is the first time i ordered a family dinner from this place. i had previously ordered from lucilles and twins bbq in long beach. I was disappointed on the quality of the food. this is a one and done order for this place for me. ill order from lucilles next time.
One of the best BBQs I've had in a long time and the people are great
This place has great BBQ! Just the right amount of smoke. We had ribs, chicken, links, brisket, pulled pork. All good! Delicious sides and the tangy plus spicy BBQ sauces makes everything finger licking good! Definitely recommended.
Enjoyed some BBQ from there, liked all plates, tried ribs, chicken and pork. Simple and tasty.
It's the brisket for me. Potatoes salad is good the meat in the greens is
Really good food!! Exceptional Customer Service!!
The food wasn't good at all. I bought a 3 meat combo for $35. Ridiculous! The meat was salty and I don't know where the grease came from in my box. The food is overpriced and didn't have a good taste. It tastes like a backyard barbeque taste, a heavy thick sweet taste. If you like Brothers barbeque on 78th and Crenshaw, you might like Robert Earls. For me, I will stick with Phillips and Woodys.
