Great, fresh, flavorful mexican food. Service was great. Staff was friendly and very helpful. We definitely will go there again.

We found this place for 4 years ago and it has grown is us so much that we frequent it regularly and absolutely love going there. What is most impressive is how the great service and excellent food quality never disappoint.Rivera’s has Pozole and Menudo everyday -unlike a lot of Mexican places where both or one are only served on weekends. Honestly, every item in their menu is very tasty -you can’t go wrong with anything you order. Also, if you’re looking to host an event and you wish to give Mexican food to your guests, Rivera’s can help. My family had an event there and they all loved the experience and the food. What’s best is that you’re allowed to decorate the annexed space. It is cozy; we all had a blast eating and dancing. Only downside perhaps is the parking, but consider using across street parking and you should be fine. You could also recommend guests to carpool (as we did) to minimize vehicles -just a thought.

What a huge disappointment. Called in to try and place a to go order. First they say: we are only serving the special menu. (It's Valentine's day, I get- No problem) Me: Okay, whats on the special menu? Them: oh, we are closed. Me: what time do u close? Them: 7:30pm. Me: It's 6:50pm. Them: oh, we aren't doing to go orders. Me: Why not you just told me that your only doing orders off the special menu. Them: We are too busy. Sorry. Call over -_-Poor customer service.

Clean, yummy, absolutely delicious food. I highly recommend. This is some BOMB Mexican food. This is coming from someone who regularly (if not nearly exclusively) dines at extremely high end places. However I do love a local, authentic, every day spot and this is it for SURE.

Great food! You can tell its all made with love, the flovors are so fresh. There's so much to look at in the restaurant, I love the inside. Service was on point! They have pozole and manudo all week!Only downside I see is beers are kinda expensive for bottle beer but not a biggie. The food is that good!

Have patronized Rivera's for over 25 years. Originally in Compton on Long Beach Blvd. The family has always been kind & hard working. The Food is Out a Sight. My favorites are the Enchiladas & Tacos DELICIOUS as All throughout the years!! Happy they are in Long Beach that's where I live.

The food is very good , the chiles rellenos are not Poblanos, they are the yellow ones, they are good but they are not the original Chile relleno, service was friendly in most of my visits, until I was attended for this lady, I think she is a cook, she was very rude, I asked her if I could have my plate without rice, she looked at me like I asked something bad, she did not answer my question and left, then a waiter came like 15 min after, he was very kind and he took my order. I left and I notice they didn’t put chips like they always do so I came back to ask for the chips and the same lady looked at me and told me, “they charged you very cheaply for your food” like saying, and you want chips too??? I just said, oh ok thank you very much and left.I think is not her concern how I would like to have my plate and it’s not my fault how much they charged me, it was very uncomfortable situation.

I went there yesterday with my friends. I am not strong but I do push my friend in a wheelchair chair. It was not far from where we had to go. The service was excellent and the staff very friendly. Most of all our food was delicious. It was the fist time in five years we all three got together and Rivera's was the perfect place to go.Thank you,Cynthia Chavez

I love Rivera's. Family owned friendly service. The food is very good.. My favorite spot..

Food is absolutely amazing, the service is outstanding, the ambiance is really nice and cozy. Prices are good. I am very picky about where I go, and I definitely recommend this place.
