This venue is impeccable! The views, the ambiance, the staff are amazing. The apps, drinks, and entrees are great. From turkey meatballs to salmon, it rings bells. The garlic mash ain’t bad at all. Portion sizes are ideal for any guest. Just go already.
Our family booked a funeral reception there. The place was set up nicely and the staff was very respectful and professional. I loved the fact the staff wore masks for our protection as we had a lot of elderly people in attendance

I cannot thank you The Reef staff enough for making our wedding day absolutely incredible. The service from the start of planning to the end of our wedding night was some of the best I have received. The sales person Maria was very accommodating in helping us plan for a smooth day. On the day off, the service staff ensured me and my groom were always attended to, whether it be bringing us a drink or some food to enjoy throughout our busy day. Our guests raved about the food and I think every plate in the room was cleared. I could go on and on but this place was so incredible and we just want to say a big thank you for helping our day be as perfect as possible. This place will always be special to us! THANK YOU!
This is a great space for a wedding. The views are to die for. The coordinator on site is amazing. She is easy to work with and so helpful. The only thing I think needs to change is how they collect gratuity for the service staff. They handed a bill to the newlyweds at the end of the evening . The last thing newlyweds want is a bill at the end of their wedding day. This should be done before hand or the day after.
I was thoroughly impressed and satisfied with the experience I received for my 40th birthday event on Saturday, 2/26/22. First off, I can't thank Ms. Nicole Ellis enough for all of her help and effort in helping me plan and coordinate my event. Communication via email and telephone with her regarding the planning of my event was effortless and always prompt. On the day of the event, Reuben, the banquet captain and his staff went beyond my expectations to make my guests and I have a memorable experience. I received many compliments from my guests regarding how delicious all the appetizers and the plated entrees- the filet and the ginger soy salmon were.In addition, the patio view of the Long Beach shoreline during sunset was amazing. My event was in the Bayview Room and patio deck area. The room and the patio area was the perfect setting for an intimate party with close family and friends. For reference, our event had 56 people. I will definitely recommend the Reef to all of my family and friends for future events. Thank you again!
Good service Pleasant surrounding Good food
This will be a bittersweet review. The waiter and bartender at the Reef were wonderful. Very polite and helpful. On the other hand the manager for special events Nicole Ellis was nothing short of unprofessional and dismissive. As if throwing a private event isn't hard enough Nicole made the process more challenging. She was rude and short on the phone and was no better in person. Unfortunately because of her unprofessionalism and poor ability to simply respect people wouldn't recommend The Reef.

Our event was good. The food in my opinion was excellent. Nice venue. Too pricey but it's what you get when you are overlooking the ocean. Lol
