Impromptu find and walked into the place asking if they did walk-ins. Was greeted with a warm welcome by several staff and sat down instantly.Food was aweeeesome and there was even live music! When the bread came out, it was extremely soft, warm, & fresh. Trisha was our waitress for the outside patio (amazing service btw). Definitely a consideration for next time when we're out nearby.
This was my first time coming & it me of a dinner spot that I went to in the 70s as a kid. Dim lighting, low ceiling in the bar area that smelled of a million spilled drinks & old men that all know one another & have probably been coming since the 70s.Now, the food: The steak was really good. Perfectly medium rare & tender. The garlic mashed potatoes were good & the service was great. Reasonably priced as well.
We were invited by Dillan M. for my daughters birthday.What an absolutely wonderful restaurant.Our dinner, incredibly delicious with an ambiance of wonderful lighting (romance), and the best service available.Phil, the owner greeted us personally with a big smile making sure everyone in our group was happy with their meal.I highly recommend Phil Tranies...absolutely wonderful ?
The place looks a tad dated. The service is not perfect. The food is great but not excellent. I bloody loved it. So refreshing to have people talking to you like you’re a person and not a robot.
This was my first time trying Jambalaya and the Cajun was delicious! I work at Five Guy’s and I never knew fry seasoning would work on this but it hit all the right taste buds :)
Food was phenomenal. I had the most tender baseball steak husband had the lemon chicken and it was big and quality portions, I had take out box. Our host were amazing and very attentive. So thankful for them.
Our party of 5 arrived early for dinner reservations and the staff graciously served us early. Beautiful bar if you'd like to wait there.All of the dishes were perfectly plated and delicious- from crispy calamari to stuffed chicken and tender pasta. Save room for dessert if you can!
We are making Phil Trani's our place for pre Thanksgiving Dinner. I cook for three days for turkey day. We enjoy the quiet, relaxed simple fancy atmosphere that we find here. Take as long as we want to visit.Like the old term says:"Nice Dinner House"
