This review isn’t for the food but the service. Today we where served by an older lady-server(not sure if she is the manager) that wasn’t happy to be here. Her attitude was bad and would look away when we gave our order. Once finished giving the order her reply was that’s it? Also I reminded her that we are still missing our kabob for our family meal and her reply was I’m not the cook. Such horrible service that took away the enjoyment of the meal. I heard there are other locations and will visit them instead.Sadly the food was good but because of her will not return.I recommend the food but not the service. Maybe order to go or visit another location.
Food was really good and you can tell that the ingredients are fresh. However, the quality of the food really depends on whoever is making it. My chicken kabob was a bit dry and the skewered vegetables were burnt very badly. You couldn’t even tell what veggie you were eating. However, the beef koobideh kabob was really good and juicy. The skewered veggies were grilled deliciously. Service was friendly, parking is good, and overall it was a yummy restaurant at the Long Beach Exchange.
Very awesome food, service was great! Very good spot with delicious meals.
Delicious fresh food. We had the falafel appetizer, very good. We will be back.
Love this place! Flat Iron Steak Kabob was so savory with tomatoes and onion with the BEST salad. Service with a smile always. Meal arrival was slow and looked like some confusion at the kitchen but we ordered appetizers all was well.
We've been eating here occasionally since the place opened. It's all delicious! My partner and I get an appetizer and share one of the plate meals. It's a good portion of food and always cooked perfectly. Super delicious and healthy meal options!
great food...good service. nice ambience
Skirt steak kabobs were pretty good but not cooked evenly so I only ate half the meat on the kabob.Rice is very good as well as the salad. The mimosas were mostly orange juice not much trace of champagne.Servers are very nice but with the amount is guest it takes long for ordering, refills or check. The place is very clean and tidy, it is a very busy placeI would say a bit pricey for what you get.
Absolutely loved the family platter with the basmati rice, with grilled chicken and veggies. Perfectly cooked. Also the beef kebab and the freshly squeezed lemonade was one of the best I've had. The place was packed on a Sunday lunch but the Staff were organized and we really didn't wait long for our order. It's a must try if you're craving for Mediterranean food.
PKG is one of my favorite places to eat , especially if I want to eat a hearty and healthy meal. The one thing that ruins a great restaurant is customer service. There is one server at this location that I feel really needs to work on her customer service skills. I will not mention her name, but I will describe her. This lady is in her 60's early 70's . She has total attitude with the customers! I'm surprised she still has a job. She's an older stocky looking lady with brown short hair. She has a raspy voice , and she does not do a good job checking on the customers. When you have to ask her to bring something extra or request for lemon for your water, she totally has attitude or just watch her facial expressions ?
