I had the traditional cheese enchilada with onions and crispy beef taco with rice and beans oo wow this has to be on my top 5 list in California. Amazing!
Probably the worst Mexican I’ve ever had. Save your money and don’t come here. Food is not authentic. The restaurant smelled like cigarette smoke as soon as you walk in. I don’t know how they get 4.5 stars.
I had the shredded beef tacos, they were special! Loaded full of juicy shredded beef and overloaded with cheese.. so lit!
Favorite authentic Mexican restaurant in Cali, even wish this place was in Vegas. The tacos are great and the enchiladas whether chicken or shredded beef are amazing, the enchilada sauce is perfect too. Always great service. Highly recommend if you want true mexican food, not the americanized mexican food

There's a reason this hole in the wall eatery has survived so long, as well as through the pandemic. It's just hands-down simple Mexican fare, and it's delicious. Cash only. Their tacos a la cart are my favorite, alongside a bowl of the guacamole and a cup of their hot as the sun albondigas soup. I wish I could eat it right now.
This place is great. Been coming here for almost 30 years. The people complaining there are no margaritas or other alcohol have issues that go beyond anything that can be said here. If you’re coming for a margarita then you obviously care more about your habit than you do service and quality. Cash only, but anyone that has a debit card can get the cash out so sounds like a you problem there as well. I crave for this place on a regular schedule and will never stop coming back. Parking is a little tricky but this is an historic location and is almost all completely original which I think is a rare thing to find anymore. To those who complained about the food, go to the doctor and get yourself checkout out because something is DEFINITELY wrong with you.
