I got food poisoning once .Yesterday my gf and I went gave it another shot whyyyy idk we fattys but this time she got food poisoning so I will say we won't be coming back
If You've had a Tommy's Chili burger before, then there's really no need to explain about the taste. Or the quality. I'm not big on chili fries. Even though I hear they have a very nice taste.
I moved out-of-state after living most of my adult life in Los Angeles. When I come back, I make it a point to visit Tommy's. It's even become a thing with a good friend that I look forward to. Even the fact that this outdoor location gets sketchy around 9PM is part of the charm.
I had unbelievable gas after my first time eating Tommy's. That was on Sunday its Tuesday now and my stomach has not been right since. Oh and the Chilli dog was gross it looked and tasted like it was days old the casing was stiff and the over pourd Chilli to cover it
This was a decent Tommy's. Overall enjoyable, but a bit of a challenge with some of the transient population. Gave some of our extra portions to a few of them as felt like somebody should not have to dig through trash to eat. :-(
Not sure why I got the urge to get a Tommy's burger at 10a but there I go. It seems my taste buds have changed because back in the 90's this was a delicious burger, now its just ok.
We both got the chili-cheese burger (excellent with a toasted bun) and their chili hot dogs. Both came with their signature onions, tomato, and dill pickles, and of course their wonderful chili. Their chili is not greasy and it has a wonderful taste! Only out door seating and it was cold out so we ate in the car. An LA original! Well worth the trip to any of their locations.
When I can't make it out to the original this location does the job ! Everything is absolutely delicious as if you were getting it from the original spot ! I have never been disappointed at this Tommy's and always have had the freshest food and that's why I will always return ! Way closer to me than the original one too so I'll be making a stop by soon ! I got the cravings for their chili burgers and chili fries lol ! Lol everyone knows that struggle ! Hahhaha. Great location and great Staff, very welcoming and hard working ! Definitely a 5 star location
You can never go wrong with a chili cheese burger at this shack - Alway delicious every time.
Great food and would go here instead of McDonald's or other fast food restaurants. The chili really is good and the fries are excellent.
