I don’t know if it was the time we went, but I honestly feel like I’ve been to other restaurants around closing hours and got better service than the ppl at this restaurant. I went around 9:10 after work to get a drink and some appetizers I didn’t get help till like almost 9:30-9:35. The lady didn’t even acknowledge us nothing my husband was like “are we going to get served or what”??? Any who long story short service was bad! Took too long to get our check, our beer. I’m not the type to complain but this was the far bad customer service I ever got. ???♀️??♀️. Like I said maybe bad timing maybe I’ll give it another try lunch hours.

Paid $20 a person and charged $125 for a booth which would be fine had we recieved service immediately. Then the people in the booth next to us didn't have to pay for theirs and were receiving service. So after being ignored for 20+minutes we went to ask for our money back and of course they didn't wanna refund us for our booth. UNPROFESSIONAL ILL MANNERED PEOPLE.

A fun night out with my girls is what on the rocks bar & grill provided for us! About two weeks ago was our first time visiting. We quickly found out that it turned into a club after the restaurant closed at night. FYI, there was a $20. the cover fee to get in after the restaurant closes. The music was poppin? turned my head to see that DJ Mike Smooth was on that night. The only way to get drinks was to go to the bar at the front of the restaurant. If there were waitresses taking orders, they were scarce. My crew sat outside on the back-enclosed patio, seated by one of the restaurant's heaters. It was very crowded around the bar, of course, but (HELPFUL HINT) you could order from the waitresses at the end of the bar where the openings are for them to get into the kitchen. I also saw stairs leading to a second floor. It appeared to be open as I saw people, not employees, going up and down the stairs. I don’t know if you have to reserve the area, but I know it’s there and worth looking into if that’s (privacy) what you're ? looking for. I didn’t have any problem with staff members. However, I did have locals ordering for me. If someone was providing bad service I was unaware of it. The employees I encountered didn’t seem horrible at all, just very busy and taking care of their customers. As a first time visitor observing the way the restaurant, bar, and club were ran, it seems to be as under control as you can have a restaurant, in Long Beach, full of liquor drinking people dancing to a jammin DJ.
Nice ambiance for a bar. Very spacious. Staff is super nice. Food...could be better tho, not that many healthy options unless you just want to eat edamame...

Great bar with pretty decent food, it can get packed so arrive early and have a good time. As with any place service can get hectic but that’s because it’s a lively place with a lot of people inside and out.
Great place!! Drinks & food is the bomb!! Great setting.. only every now & then a young vibe will pop up.. ??♂️
