Best comfort food I've found in LB
Great friendly service, cook came to the table to ask if I enjoyed the meal. We're from Mississippi, and were totally disappointed with the food. I ordered the fried chicken plate with mac n' cheese and greens. I felt the chicken was undercooked, still red when taking a bite. No flavor, needed more seasoning. I'll give them another try.
I just can't stop going here. I now spend more times here for breakfast or lunch than at home. 8 thumbs up for me and my Buds I can't sneak off and leave?
Delicious food hospitality and customer service is point on prices are great the whole atmosphere is very welcoming and how you would feel and be treated in the south. And by South I'm talking about Gulfport Mississippi!

I was searching on Yelp and found ONell’s. I don’t know how I missed this gem. I was greeted warmly. I let the owner know it was my first time we went over different options. I decided on applewood bacon cheese grits scrambled eggs and a biscuit. Everything is made to order so I didn’t mind the wait. THE FOOD IS AMAZING, A DOWN SOUTH HOME COOKED MEAL.
Soooooo good!!I had the fried shrimp po-boy and the fried chicken with loaded mashed potatoes, collard greens and fries. Then washed it down with a big sweet tea.It was delicious and authentically southern.Thank you Ms. Lavon, see you again soon!
Best comfort food in town! My favorite is still the sausage biscuits and gravy.
