Amazing dining experience. This humble Asian-fusion eatery far exceeded my expectations! Outdoor dining was Covid-safe. I enjoyed Tom Yum Goong Shrimp with egg noodles. The flavor was exotic and my first words upon tasting my dish were “who is this guy?” The chef took our orders, created the incredible dishes, delivered them to our table, and repeated the process for several other guests. Next-Kitchen is tucked away off of a major street in Long Beach. It looks common or easily forgettable at first glance. The mistake would be not to try this culinary gem.

This place is a real gem. Mind blown at the Beef Wellington for 25 bucks a person. Perfectly cooked and hand sliced by the chef so the plastic utensils are plenty. The savory mushroom surrounding the beef really is the perfect touch. This is not "mall restaurant" food. We also got the fruit tea panna cotta which was an excellent dessert, and came back the next day for the pork moon cake which was very flavorful.

Great spot for lunch, highly recommend chicken plate as well as egg tart.!(Their bun is also very authentic)

Pretty-damn-good meal, and great service. I’m sure I’ll increase it to 5 ⭐️s on 2nd visit.

This place seemed just like another place that served Chinese food, but it offered BEEF WELLINGTON! WHAT?! That really got our attention, so we decided to check it out before our comedy show at The Laugh Factory.I am a food connoisseur, especially when it comes to Asian food and I can confidently say that this place is amazing! The pork belly was cooked to perfection, just like how I remember my grandma's cooking from decades ago! I miss it so much, and this is the only place so far that can match her cooking skills! The egg noodles have perfect texture. The Thai soup was superb. The artisan fruit/tea/Panna cotta drinks were simply delicious! Now, the most surprising items were the beef wellington and the Portuguese Egg tarts. Perfectly crunchy and flaky puff pastries. The beef was cooked to perfection! Soooooo goooood!!! The egg tart had perfect consistency and sweetness!! I compare it to the ones from Pasteis de Belem in Portugal! Really hard to say which one is better, really! The owner is a real chef who went to a culinary school and cooked with Michelin star chefs, so his "normal looking" Asian food are actually extremely tasty because they are held at very high standards. He didn't open a restaurant just because he could cook. The man's got real skills!!Check it out, and let's help this little place stay in business because the food there is beyond great, with a decent price! We should do everything we can to help these little awesome spot stay in business so that we can always get great foods

First time experience. Tucked into a corner in the former AMC Theaters food court, the Slow Cooked chicken was very flavorful & tasty. The Tom Yum Gong Shrimp was spicy and very flavorful. The Service was pretty good. I would definitely be back here.

The food tasted pretty good but I ordered a fresh whole coconut and when I opened it there was no coconut meat and the coconut shell was turning brown from being old and the “fresh coconut water” not fresh

Food is good and the woman running the front is very nice. The best items on menu are the steam buns and the peach tea.

Absolutely delicious! Just looking at the photos will activate your salivary glands and get you eager for your meal. When the owner serves his beef Wellington, he does a really stylish table-side presentation where he unveils the marbleized and rouge interior of your meat. The beef is succulent, hearty, and melt-in-your-mouth. It is supremely filling and satisfying and you can taste the quality of the meat, which is evidentially USDA choice. The pastry crust it’s enveloped in is flaky and decadent. It is crispy on the outside, with a doughy velvet interior that complements the savory nature of the beef really well. The other fillings are also delectable and very interesting; I tasted earthy notes of mushroom that was shredded very fine in a really nice silky texture, and there’s prosciutto that reinforces the savory nature of the beef and inflects it with a heady fat note that’s scrumptious. This is a very luxurious treat that you wouldn’t expect to find in a little strip mall off Pine. Although it is a pricey lunch and equal to a meal in a sit-down restaurant, I actually love the combo of casual dining with something this substantial and unique. When you don’t want to feel pressured to dress up and make a big deal of location, but you want something quick and elevated as a gift to yourself, come here. And the owner is really nice! I also recommend the egg tarts. I love them! Silky and not too sweet with that same dough-making talent evinced throughout.

Great!!! We had the Beef Wellington and the Sous Vide Chicken! Both were delicious and prepared well! They even gave us custard egg tarts while we waited! It’s tough to find a place that has Wellington on a regular basis and this place did not disappoint at all!Awesome hidden gem on Pine street in Long Beach, CA!!!
