Their website says they close at 9pm. I placed an order online at 8:05pm, I was charged for the food and got a confirmation to pick up at 8:35pm. I arrived at 8:28pm, the place was dark and a woman was sitting on a chair in the dark eating something and watching TV. I knocked on the door to ask about my order and she just shouted very rudely through the glass door, "We're closed!" I shouted in return, "But you guys charged me, may I get my money back?" She still sat there and shouted back at me, "I can't help you, come back tomorrow!" I asked for her name but she wouldn't give it to me. She didn't even apologize, she didn't come up to me at the door, she just sat there with her feet up and was very rude. They had my number on file when I placed my order, it would have been nice if they could have called me to explain it wouldn't be ready before closing and to reassure me of a refund. Terrible business! Don't expect to be treated like a human being during the night shift.
This place is great! The owner was really helpful, and friendly! The sushi was great, and the prices were cheaper for us compared to other places! and the service was excellent :)! We really enjoyed coming here, so much literally came the next day even though it was out of the way haha?! Definitely going to be coming here whenever we visit long beach again :)!
I've been coming here for the past eight years. They have great service, the food is made quick and its always delicious. I usually order over the phone and go pick up my order and it takes 10-15 mins most days. There is free 2 hr parking in the parking structure and meter parking out front. They recently added out side dinning too.

Teriyaki bowl was mediocre, sushi was unedible. Also funny how the menu doesn’t list prices but behware because it’s rather pricey for the quality.
The guy was nice and the food was ok. There was a woman there who wouldn’t stop talking loudly and she’s a regular because we’ve see. Her before. She’s nice but I want to eat and talk with my friends in peace. If she hadn’t been there this would have been 5 stars.
Mitaki has the best work ethics among all the restaurants I've been to in my 6-day Longbeach visit. Foods are generous and taste good! I'll visit this joint next time I go to LongBeach !!

I had a fantastic time in this restaurant. We liked the nice environment and the menu. The staff are super friendly. I’m content we finally decided to visit this restaurant.
Meh…I’m from SF and there are much better sushi places, which are more reasonably priced. Plus, I believe they gave me a frozen, processed shrimp tempura product that was definitely not fresh fried tempura in traditional tempura batter. Also, my wife complained the rice was stale. Lame. I’m traveling, so it’s always hit or miss in these scenarios. Too bad I missed. I’m bleeding cash in Long Beach.
