Service and Food 4/5. This place seems to be popular and was a 15-20min wait to sit. Has both indoor seating and outdoor seating with heaters - there is also a large table with a fire pit in the middle but is a great option if you are there with a large party.Service was very slow early on and we waited about 5-7mins before a server came over. And then the server maybe came by another 2-3 times The food also came out slowly with the caprese salad coming first before any of the drinks. The Delle Casa is quite bland and we had to put a lot of the chilli oil to had some flavor. The Gnocchi special of the night was great. It was in an eggplant based sauce - we were skeptical on how this would taste but it was great (we almost cleaned the plate). The penne with marinara was also good.
This restaurant seems not busy so we walked in. Bus boy is courteous. Waitress came in and told us the long summary of menu special for the day. We order our favorite pasta and drinks. Drinks took soo long. After a long wait for our food (dry food), We reminded the waitress about our cocktails. This place is not busy. What are they doing? My first time going here and the last time.
Was a bit surprised with my 5 star rating as when I walked in the place was empty after trying to book a reservation and none were available for 2 hours. I sat at the chef’s counter and got to watch the executive chef interact with his team. Giuseppe A. Musso is his name and it was wonderful to see his respectful instruction, mentoring and demeanor with his staff and the wait staff. He led them along the way and respectfully corrected misses. Michael’s is very lucky to have him. I has the meatballs which were very tender and flavorful and then the meat pizza which was executed beautifully with the perfect amount of toppings. Service was pleasant, personable and helpful. I will be back when in the area for sure. Give it a try!
So this was my first time going to this restaurant inspite of passing them by a million times... I think this has become my favorite Italian restaurant! We ordered the wood fried vegetables, kale/Burrata salad, Spinach Ricotta Ravioli and the Pistachio cheesecake... each of the items were way beyond excellent!!! True authentic fresh very tasty flavors! And they didn’t make me feel heavy but nice and light! No matter what you order here, trust me, you won’t regret any! Besides all the items on their menu is so unique! The chef I was told was from Italy..! No doubt the food was over delicious! My favorite Italian restaurant from now on.. can’t wait for until after Easter to go there again!
On Saturday, 12/18/21, I had a reservation for 10 for a family Christmas get-together dinner. This restaurant was chosen by a family member for location and reviews. Our 8 adult and 2 children party was seated indoors. What a train wreck. This place was clearly understaffed. We had such a hard time getting service. We requested coffee and it took one hour to arrive. We ordered several appetizers including various meats and cheeses. The waitress kept serving 5 tiny slices of a baguette when we repeatedly asked for bread for all the meat and cheese on the platter. We simply did not have enough bread to eat the thinly sliced meat. Strangely the cheese was in 1/2 thick slices. Our party ordered several appetizers which fell flat, including the Poinsettia drinks which were tasteless. The dishes piled up sky high on the tables and the waitress never removed any of them. There were so many dishes that the infant in our party reached over and pulled dishes to the floor which broke with a loud crash. Even though someone came and swept up the broken dishes, the table was never cleared to make any room. When the main dishes were ordered, the pizzas were truly terrible. This was agreed upon by all in the party. They had no seasoning at all. The vegetable pizza was piled high with large chunks and whole pieces of veggies obviously the same whole veggies used for the Garden Vegetable platter. It was hysterical. How were we supposed to eat the monstrosity? Our party agreed that the service and the food was generally terrible. We had the reservation for weeks which gave them plenty of time to prepare. The bill was $553.65. OMG. If the food and service was even decent, I would not have complained here on this forum.
it is a real gem. The place is very nice, its prices are great, the attention is awesome, its staff are very friendly. and of course the food is excellent. I came for a salad because I wasn't hungry, I ended up eating with my partner, in addition to the salad, pasta, pizza and dessert.
Found this super place completely by chance when walking in Long Beach. Best pizza I've eaten in four weeks of traveling around the USA. And absolutely lovely people. Go and give them a visit.
Great food, excellent service. Been there several times both I'm small and large catered groups. Highly recommend but be sure to enjoy any of their fine pizzas!
Yes, we loved it. We are 5 and we tried the following: meatballs, prosciutto w/glazed pear, spaghetti w/meat sauce (it's egg pasta) yummy, mushroom pizza w/jam, shrimp salad. All was yummy, nice portions, nice people there. Really recommended. And yes, Italian food.
Great and friendly service. Food was excellent. Pasta was flavorful and tasty.
