Read the reviews and thought this would be a good place to try. The décor would have been bad in the 70's. The staff was friendly, and moderately attentive. Unfortunately, the food was worse than the décor. They use the left over dishwater to make the minestrone...bland, with a big chunk of potato and broccoli. Add enough salt, pepper, and a dash of Tabasco and it's edible. The garlic bread was a hot dripping orange mess on what appeared to be, and tasted like a hot dog bun. My manicotti was OK. My wife had pasta with chicken. The chicken was chewy and bland as if it had been frozen too long. Our side of Italian sausage was bland and mushy. I asked if they made them there, and they said no. It would be a monumental step up if they bought them from Stater's! The meat sauce tasted like it came out of a can. I seldom write reviews, but this was so far off from the reviews that brought me here, I had to speak my peace.Disclaimer - We did not have the pizza. They seem to have a good takeout business, so maybe that's where they shine...I sincerely hope so!
This is my favorite restaurant. I've been going there since 1973. When my family gets together to celebrate its always on the list. they want the great food and family atmosphere. Kathy makes me feel like my Italian grandma is cooking.
Food was so so so good. Service exceptional. Loved it.
Mary's Pizza and pasta restaurant is fantastic. We have eaten here a number of times and have not been disappointed once. The pizza is fantastic everything about it is fantastic! I would recommend to anyone thinking of trying it to actually try it cuz you will not be let down.
drove from Fontana to this place on the way to the aquarium in long Beach. totally loved it. amazing service and the owner treats you like family right awayfood is to die for
Awesome food! The Best customer service...Definitely a place to visit often!!
The best tasting pizza around are worth the drive. They're not stingy with the toppings and they load that pizza up with a lot of cheese. It has a flavor all its own that does not compare to any other place. A silver variety of pasta dishes sandwiches and pizza. It's all good you can't go wrong with whatever you order.
The definition of ok. Pizza has too many toppings, cheese not brown enough, crust is way to crunchy (like a cracker more than a crust). The cheese, sauce and toppings have a nice flavor, but they put raw bell peppers on after the pizza came out of the oven? That one was really confusing. Also, they put mozzarella in a caeser salad, that’s why I have to draw the line.
I always seek out new pizza places this was good for lunch and has specials .my order was my typical pepperoni pizza very will done .
I want to really like this place every time I go. It's an old-school place with booths and when I walk in, it takes me back to the Italian restaurants of my childhood. The service is friendly but the food somehow never has the real Italian flavor that I'm looking for.
